Day 49

This week, Bud Set achieved, firm and tight throughout..... big time vertical expansion, over an inch a day.... the open center is exploding upward towards the light... consumed tons of light and dieted on fertilizers.
BAM ! total high performance week, she's meeting my expectations and showing her appreciation. Now greets me daily with that sweet fragrance of joy when I arrive.
She has now achieved her halfway point and we have no misunderstanding as to what is expected moving forward. Looking back I admit my favorite part of the growing cycle is the first half... take a dry dusty seed, drop in water and 49 days later transforms into this wonder. Second half is great fun however rewards are based on the first half's care and time slows....

This coming week, vertical growth slows dramatically, rapid bud growth and will consume a powerful blend of Witches-Brewed up fertilizers that will rattle from the tips of her leaves down to the depths of the mud hole in which she lives.

A brand new band is now playing at this party.

Update in a week..... this is so much fun.....

Houston... fuel low... now entering Lunar Orbit..

Day 56

This past week as predicted, the vertical growth expansion slowed, quick rapid flower development after bud set, drank two full gallons of water, consumed very potent bud building fertilizers.

She has arrived at her cruising height of 28in. and is absolutely stunning in appearance, has fantastic regal posture, any future height will be from Bud development. Her structure is massive she's built like a bridge and will easily support the anticipated huge buds that will form over the coming weeks ahead.
Having the ability to focus the side lighting is a big big deal here, besides gives me something to do other than just watering her twice a week. yawn-yawn... where's my cat?

This coming week ahead, buds will at least double in size, get fed one more time the current blossom builder fertilizer, be totally consumed by light and and enjoy soft gentle breezes thru her branches.

Oh and also getting nothing but HARD FAST BALLS thrown at her all week..

Will again update in a week.. this week will be truly amazing..

Day 63

Once again last weeks growth performance was as predicted, accelerating flower growth, consumed heavy amounts of high octane fertilizers mixed in with 2 1/2 gallons of distilled water. Also the overall weekly physical changes are amazing.

She's now in Full Flower mode, most all the main players now have a seat at the table, extreme bud growth taking place everywhere with almost all stalks being taken over by this rapid flower growth. Her moisture consumption is up now, dry she holds a full gallon and lasts about 3 days. The weekly physical changes were as anticipated and week over week progress has been simply amazing.

Predictions... this coming week will again experience massive bud development, she will be losing her youthful tall slender look, giving way to little more of a full figured look. Big change in diet, from her current High Protein drinks to more "Cheeseburgers and Milk Shakes. it's weight gain time now........ flowers will once again at least double in size....

Will again update after this very exciting week ahead.... cheeseburgers in paradise

Houston... Now accelerating away from and leaving Lunar Orbit, destination is to the far reaches of time and imagination.

Hey man, what was the amount of moisture you had during the vegging phase?
hey.... from seed to day 21 she's in a well ventilated party cup, seed type growing media, saturated keeps things wet for a week, then water thru. I rely on moisture meter readings from all over container, takes all the guess work out.... red means water...

On day 21 she's transplanted into a saturated 2 1/2 gallon container, the soil is constructed so that I can water one gallon twice a week throughout most of the growing. Her first watering after transplant is in about another week which was day 28, watered thru again and on started flower on day 35.

Take the time to construct the soil that fits your style, environment and pot size. it's a fine balance

Get a moisture meter... (the short one) distilled water

Dry em out..

Ask yourself, how many folks get in trouble by under watering or lack of fertilizers.

Day 70

Last weeks performance was as anticipated, rapid bud development and is starting to fill out a bit more moving towards more of a full figured gal. This week consisted of consuming two gallons of fluids, dined on Cheeseburgers and Milk Shakes, basked in the sun and keeping nice and cool with gentle breezes blowing thru her branches.

She's filling up nicely, the floor development is going along surprisingly well, the main circle of spears are each about
17" tall and are starting to bulk up on all sides.
No odor control desired here, this Cheese Candy has a wonderful exotic essence that fills the house and is exactly what I want.. just feels like home again...

Predictions.. another big week of flower development, same diet, two gallons of fluids, lots of light and enjoying great temps and breezes.

Day 77

This past weeks performance was as anticipated, high output bud growth, consumed two gallons of diet liquid, basked in the sunshine along with cooling breezes.

She has put on quite a show this week, maximum flower growth and expansion taking place throughout, maintaining full flower mode she is full of white pistils showing no signs of slowing, she's just now getting started and the weeks ahead will be incredible. Her genetics are taking over now and I anticipate her flowers to triple in size over the coming weeks ahead. Keeping most all leaves on to capture the energy needed to maintain her course. Watering twice a week, she's easily managed with the satellite surround lighting and wants to please with her Beauty Queen appearance.

Predictions are another unbelievable week of production, maintain same diet, water twice and watch the show....

update in a week....

The grow you picture is the grow you deserve..

Those buds are getting massive.

And is it just me, or is there a bit of cat hair on some of them, lol.
Yes ...(very observant)... the fans will pick up stray hair from TAZ and can get caught on the very tips usually, just took a chop stick with some double sided tape attached easily sucks em all up very quickly.

How much longer do you think you have? Those Buds are really taking shape and the calyx's are swelling
On day one (post #3) the stated goal was for 100 days, she is now on day 80 today, leaving nearly three weeks ahead to meet this goal, I do have experience with this very stable strain and I believe she's right on course, however I would be delighted to keep up this grow stage as long as possible, really it's up to her and genetics.

I am very patient...

Day 84

This past week was very productive, maintaining her rapid flower development growth cycle. Watered with one gallon of water twice and added nutrients.

Another great week of bud development, her flowers are becoming more defined and expanding rapidly in size now. The bud structures are tight and firm and have filled in very nicely. New white pistils throughout gives notice, she's now in charge and it's up to her as when to finish up.
On a closer observation, notice a few of the leaves are showing first early signs of a change to Fall colors, changes are a coming as she transitions from bud growth to swell and ripen stage.

Coming week will be transitional with less expansive bud growth, and now more flower fattening growth, which will be amazing to watch.
Gosh she's starting to look like a marijuana plant.

just curious. when your buds stop growing (the calyx's swelled up and there is no more bulking), does that also mean time to chop? Aside from the trichromes being 50-75% milky?

I agree with you...

When things do stop growing and the calyx's swell up big, along with desired trichome readings, are all definitely positive indicators for sure.

As growers we must make this final critical decision..... when?

I personally can usually just look at my plants and know when their ready. sort of a light brownish tint

Your plants will show and tell you when.

Just be attentive and patient and don't screw it up...LOL
