I'm not sure, never heard of it. Its jus a type of training and a plant can respond in either way.
But her fan leaves looked to have grown huge soon after the mainline.

If she is 7 weeks in she is gonna ride for about 12-15 weeks. Once u switch the light you do know it can take some time for the plant to actually start to flower. At 7 weeks her hairs should receding if not also turning amber. Check the trichs.

Looks good, few weeks to go yet.

I'm currently running lsd, but next set of clones I'm prepping are green crack.

Good to see your progress.

Is she going to become more frosty? You think
It certainly looks that way. I think you are only at about week 5 in reality. I always just count the 2 weeks after flipping me lights as still veg time.

Plenty of time left on them and this pic is showing that the are going in the right direction.

Frosty to the tips and you still have a month or so to go.

So I undetstand the trichomes going from clear, cloudy to amber... But its so hard to judge the 70/30 milky clear ratio. How do you do it

Pick a area u see in your loop and rationalize those few trichs in the area.
Remember to check all parts of the plant, some parts will change faster than others(usually the top finishing first)

The lower buds have more milky trichomes yes.
The 70/30 ratio is just a general stage, given the fact that the trichs continue to mature after u cut. U choose to cut when ever u feel the plant is mature enough.
Mostly milky trichs will give u a head buzz and amber trichs give the body buzz.

At what ratio do you harvest?

Everyone has their own preference to their desired ratio.
By the look of those pics id say you have a week or two before you even have to worry about ratios.
They look good so dont get anxious and rush the early chop. It will be worth your while to wait.
