15 inches of clearance

1 Dinafem Og Kush seed placed directly into light warrior seed starter soil in a 3 gallon pot.
My cabinet is 16 inches wide and has about 15 inches of head room.
I have made an array of 5 hanging CFL lights. 4 are 23 wat cool lights and one is a higher watt warm light located in the center.
PC fan pulling exhaust from the top of the back of the cabinet.
My nutes will be a tea of molasses and guano, and probably worm castings.
Interior covered in some kind of kodak reflective film i found in the shed.

Alright, i put that seed straight into my soil and soaked it, 2 days later it sprouted and im currently on day 17 from sprouting. No problems as of yet (knock on wood) ive been carefully watering and monitoring temperature. My light cycle is 20/4. Something interesting is that my plant is staying around 2 inches tall but the plant is still expanding, im not complaining. Pictures to follow.
This whole deal is meant as just an experiment really, how much can i get from a little cabinet and really just something to take up a little time.

Temperature isnt an issue as i live in alaska and simply opening the cabinet with a window open, lowers the temp quickly if it is to hot. But the fan does a good job of handling the heat. Also what do you mean by "main laining"

Depending on how far the lights are from the seedlings they'll bush out or stretch. If you raise the lights a little they'll gain height. Also, when they hit flowering stages you'll see some kind of growth spurt too. Looking good so far and you're on the right track. Just remember don't over water and hold off on the first feeding.
I mixed worm castings and guano into my soil before I planted, my plants are doing fine and I've yet to feed them anything during a watering.

Agreed, as others noted above, training will be critical and do everything you can to keep it short/squat. Mainlining and then tying shoots down w/ lst will should do well. Be sure to flip to flower early for stretch.

At some point you can switch to smaller chords directly above rather than the teepee hanging system you've got now. Side lighting will be effective as well. Good luck!

Thanks for all the positive feedback and suggestions. You can absolutely use the array for your collection.
Im definitely going to be tying her down. As for the lights i'll go get a few warm bulbs and see if that makes a difference. Thanks again Yall

Hey man awesome looking grow so far. Wish I could offer some guidance on the discoloring in the leaves as far as what it might be. I would say keep a close eye on the plant and check for signs else where on the plant as it grows. Could be a isolated incident. Best of Luck to you!

Been a little bit, fixed the issue. Was some kind of nute deficiency, corrected with Humboldt nutes. Read up on manifolding and im trying it, trimmed up the plant and now the top leaves are growing faster. I know the slow growth is because of the weak lights but im patient. Hope i get some opinions on what ive done :)

Day 55 No one had thoughts on my extreeme trimming eh? My bad i meant to say botanicare in the last post, ended up going to store bought. After i topped i got all this strange misshapen and wrinkled leaves because im pretty sure i overnuted. I flushed and the new growth seems to be coming in fine.

I also have a diy grow box like yours with 2 intake pc fans, 2 exhaust pc fans and 1 big pc fan at the top of the box.
4 CFL Bulbs 20w 6500k Cool Daylight 1180 Lumens each.
I managed to grow a seedling just for 2 days. The temperature rose to 44 Celsius inside the grow box. It is summer time here in Philippines so temperature is an issue.

All 4 lights were open during 16/8 cycle. Do you think it's fine to open just 1 bulb just for the seedling stage, add another light when it shows its true leaves and add 2 more lights as it grows?

Im sure it would be fine, also you dont have to have the door closed when the lights are on. So you can open it and keep the heat from building. I think that would work using only a bulb or two but you would have to use them all eventually. Consider a fan pulling air in from outside as well as blowing out.
