Looking forward to see your harvest and what about smell do you have any ideas yet.
Thanks. If I put my nose to a bud I can't really smell anything but plant right now, but if I run my fingers on the stems it smells just like mint. I don't know if that will be the smell or what, but it smells very good. I'm hoping that it is a cookies strain, but I have no idea. Not knowing the strain hasn't been driving me crazy until now, lol.

Nicely done on the reflector. Looks trick.

Im a fan of sativas myself and gorrila grow a few every year. They do take awhile to mature. You did well to control the stretch of one indoors.

I got tired of constantly having to adjust my y-adapters daily, as they would love to wiggle out of alignment throughout the day. My makeshift, Reflectix reflector wasn't cutting it for me so I built another one today. I bought some thick, stock cards and foil tape.
Supplies:
Foil tape, boxing tape, stock cards, razor blade, zip ties, y-adapters, Cfls, ring links.

Dimensions:
20.5"Lx14"Wx4"H

There is no reinforcing/bridging components; it's wings' angles are kept by tension created with the two types of tape.

I'm so much happier with this new wing reflector. I'm able to focus more of that light on my plants that had been escaping into my ceiling area with that piece of shit reflector I had.
sweet... haha i kept it cheap and simple, knowing I wouldn't use it much after the first run, so they're just box cardboard with white house paint: you cn see the clips that let me make it bigger or reacrrange it...

The smell actually hasn't even set in yet! I can only smell mintyness on my fingers after touching the branches or leaves. It's sativa dominant so it's taking forever for these buds to fill out some and let out that smell!
Me either, which has surprisd me a lot, considering the way the bit of buds I took off smoked.. pretty stoney... I bought an exhaust and a way to do a diy filter but haven't needed it at all thi time around.... there's just a light but noticeable smell in and a little around the box

Thanks bro. Just a little something I threw together. Yeah, I grew some indica earlier this year and the buds were swelling so much sooner than these, and it sucks! I'm hoping this girl only has 1.5-2 months left! Thanks

No , just how I started, went through veg like that, and you should've seen the "box" haha at one point it was just like scaffolding around the space, then some closet doors laid on side, I wish I had pic... I'll have to recreate is just to show how terrible it was... like, homeless-shanty-lean-to bad,

This is where I am now https://www.rollitup.org/t/cold-temps-underlit-generally-bad-as-fuck-grow-results.917038/ (those are the same plants I grew using those reflectors and the set up I mentions, got what you see there set up at week one or two into flower)

I made a hood for my side lighting cfls. I also have another seedling that just sprouted 2 days ago. I can't wait until it's big enough to top and mainline. I think my colas are filling in decently for the lights I have so I'm happy with that.

If all goes well, the colas should be right around 10-12" in length of fairly compact bud by harvest.
any updates? im also growing with CFLs im in week 7 at the moment. ran into a few hiccups along the way but bud developing nicely. got a crazy landrace sativa native to my country but everyone has heard of it. it started foxtailing which i pimpointed to genetics. indica looking great but got root bound at week 5.5 and transplanted. buds started swelling up really nicely. just bought some kelpak today for foliar feeds and im busy shopping around for more CFLs for the next grow.

2 days of using kelpak these suckers are swelling up real nicely. Application via foliage feeding as well as I soil drenched them with a 1/4 strength Kelpak solution. I would rather add 1/4 strength daily than add full strength twice weekly. Sunni your thoughts

Those are looking like some nice buds in the works bro. Nice trichome formations coming in. I have never foliar fed before. is this your first time trying it? You think the results are worth the foliar feeding? I'll be posting update pics shortly.

Here's my girl. 90 days overall, 53 days into flowering. I may transplant it into a bigger pot(up to a 5gal from a 3g) soon and see if it helps the buds swell. I still have tons of white hairs, but also a lot of hairs that have turned orange and started to recede. I hope it's done within the next month; I'm tired of bitch taking its sweet ass time.

Nice Haze. Is that 53 days from the flip or first sign?

Lookin at yours i should of veged for another week or two.
Thanks bro. That is 53 days since the first pistils showed, so 37 days "technically" of veg. Why is that? Does it seem a bit small or something?
