Would this be good idea , going from 12/12 to 13/11 then to 14/10 last 4 weeks so long as i don't go to reveg?
i thought more light = bigger buds?

i know it's not what happens in nature , ( longer days and all that ;) )

Screwing around with the photo period as pinworm pointed out is not a good idea. Particularly 14/10 as they'll likely try to re-veg and you may stop flowering altogether, maybe herm them. I've never done what you're suggesting, but I use 14/10 for 8-10 days before flipping to 12/12 to pre-stretch and get them pre-flowering, but they don't push out any flowers until they're flipped to 12/12. I have read some threads with guys trying 13/11 and 11/13, most reporting they're going back to 12/12 after seeing no real benefits. If I remember right, I think I read that 13.5 hours of light (technically 10.5 hours of dark) is the trigger for flowering most strains (didn't pay a lot of attention or keep the reference since I decided to stick with 12/12), anything below should be fine, anything above and you'll likely stop the flowering process altogether, besides stressing your plants. If you want bigger buds, direct your efforts into strains, lighting, feeding/medium and environmental controls.

Typically the one's rated for larger yields will generate larger buds/colas. That doesn't necessarily translate to best quality/smell/flavour though. Some common examples that produce well and large yields/colas would be Northern Lights, Blue Dream, Critical Kush. I recently ran some Pure Power Plant that grew some good size buds/colas for a relatively small plant, 24" plant (see pic below) and got 3.4 oz off it, looking to get 4-5 oz from a larger clone of that one. Good bag appeal and it's strong, like 20%+ THC, good commercial strain, but not the greatest flavour. I'm looking for a balance of big buds/colas/weight but it has to be quality, meaning get you ripped but also look/smell/taste good. I'll be trying a couple of my own crosses soon, just waiting for the seeds to mature, the one I'm looking forward to is a cross of that PPP and Blueberry, both potent strains, both good producers, should be a good yielder and the Blueberry should add some flavour/colour :bigjoint:
Here's that small PPP I was referring to when it was drying:

Weight was dry bud. Def a yielder, LST and Top/FIM as many times as you can fit into the veg cycle, it handles bending/twisting well. Only thing with this strain is I think it's only available in reg seeds. That's my preference, I don't mind getting the odd male to collect pollen and cross later.
