The color can be warm red 2700 to 3500. It's stated 100-120 lumens. The driver is made into the chip. Just solder a regular 110 cord and go from what I am reading.

I am not buying this I have just been watching out of curiosity. I do not need a light but, thinking actually about maybe installing in the garage or something.

So what do you guys think? Has anyone tried one of those? I mean for a commercial application I think the more popular COB's are probably more efficient but for a tiny little low wattage micro where the cost of electric is not really relevant I think this would work fine. If they work as stated.

Just thought I would throw it out there and see what you guys think.

Thanks for the input. After all the years of ebaying I don't always trust the wording in ads from China. And I've had pretty good luck with Chinese products actually working as stated. We all have China is in all of our households and lives. I do realize however their are varying levels of quality. But, for a micro guy just as long as I get the light to the plant that it needs, the electrical cost is inconsequential. Like maybe $10 increase in my bill when I am actually growing. I do everything on 12/12 these days. I only Grow for me when I grow so.

I actually think I may buy one just because I want to see it lol. I mean it's so cheap why not? Unfortunately I don't have light and watt meters to test with. But, I can get an active CPU cooler cheap that will fit that one or one the other manufacturers from eBay. I'm not growing now so. This is low priority. I can do this for like $10-$15 so.

Not knocking your site tho. I think you have a respectable site and great prices. If I were any more serious about this hobby I would just buy a bunch of your stuff with the light engines already made up and do a little soldering. I am not currently growing anything.

My light history.

4 65 watt CFL's. They worked well but hot.

A maybe 50 watt induction CFL light lol. It was purchased from America and quit working after one use. It was like $130 too. The 65w CFL's were actually much better. I just threw it away. lol. We don't always win.

130 watt generic Blurple UFO LED from China. Did well enough.

160ish watt Blurple UFO from the people who are now Mars. I think. It did well and I love it for supplemental light.

150 watt HPS. I use it with the newer Blurple. Hot.

Next will obviously be COB. And I may at some point supply through you just because I think you test your stuff and sell quality. There is no need tho for now. I may try this China COB on some tomatoes or squash or something.

all of those cheap Chinese cob are garbage, they are factory rejects with 30% or more of dead diodes. How long you think its going to last? i'm on a tight budget but I won't waste my money on them! Like anything else, do your homework before you spend your money!

You are making blanket statements and they are almost always wrong every time. Espicially from a silky Dude like you. I love my homework. It's called wisdom and experience. I don't have to talk shit like a punk.

Yeah I'm objective about it. Wanna test it for us? You have the tools. But it is a competitor. I didnt mean for you to. Get involved. But I don't think all "blanket statements " mean anything. It's just the way of things as we evolve So rapidly.

it isn't just the cobs that are junk but they are a good example, and apparently your " homework" isn't so well done.... and actually, your are talking shit, so come back when you can substantiate your claims.
And I've owned and used many of this class of led, to my regret.
