dude I know you're working with a 1000 water you better veg her a lot longer than that :) especially if you keep tying her down like that :)

good call on taking it easy with the N it's good to see people who can spot it out and fix it before it gets bad. Hate seeing eagle clawed leaves all to shit and then people jump on here and ask what's going on with it lol.
Lol I don't wanna veg her too long I'm ready to flower this girl and pop these other seeds I got. I'm dying to grow these GrapeStomper OG seeds sooooo bad but I have a small veg box I built that I can pop those in to get them started. Like I was saying earlier I'm prolly gonna do 5 weeks for sure and maybe 6 but I'll see how she's doing these next couple weeks. She is very stretchy so I gotta keep training or she would already be halfway through my space :)

I've never grown hydro but I've grown before and have studied for some years now so I know when things aren't right. That's why I knew something wasn't right with last grow. Lots of people don't learn how to read their plants. I know she's gonna have some heat stress claw cus of temps too that's why she's getting Silica.

UPDATE DAY 21 VEG END OF WEEK 3

Here's the lastest update of the lady after yesterdays flush and fresh nutes. She's rocking right along growing really well and making me very anxious to flower her lol but I don't have the size I want out of her yet. I'm gonna go ahead and say I'll prolly veg this girl for another 3 weeks which will make this a 6 week veg. I think she will have the size I want her at by then. Still kicking myself for breaking this girls main in early veg. She would have a nice huge arm in the spot where its a lil thin but that's ok the extra veg time will make up for it :)

Gave her full strength base, no B1 Boost, half strength Dr Repair and Silica
Grow A + B 3ml/L to 30L
Dr Repair .5ml/L
Silica .5ml/L

I trimmed her up a bit as she was very leafy and was starting to sweat big time. That's my Q to let me know I need to get the fans in there to give this girl some more circulation. I'll def have them in there before she goes into flower. I'm loving this grow and cant stop looking at her :) I guess I'm hoping she's gonna grow faster if I keep looking at her but I've always been like that when my grows are going like they should. I've done a lot of supercropping already and I'm done with that. Just gonna let her go from here and tie her down a lil more here and there to spread her more and then I'll throw the net in. Here she is getting big!!!

I think I took care of the N toxicity as she's not as dark as she was before flush!!!:):)

Sup dude, lookin good!

Get a tiny air pump and run some air stones in a reservoir. Add a pump for circulation.

Mix your nutrients 48 hours before you need to switch. Dont add any Ph.

After 48 hours adjust your ph and switch nutes.

If your not running a filter, let your plain water bubble for 24 hours and it will evaporate all chlorine in your tap.

I do this and my ph rises .4 in 24 hours for one day until it stays steady in my buckets. I usually put ph at .2 under desired level so it only rises .2 above range. Plants dont seem to mind amd it keeps my water changes minimal

Thanks bro glad to see you here. I already bubble the water for 24 hours to get chlorine out. I'm not really having pH problems but I'll try this as it may help with the swing. It's not swinging outta the range it's supposed to be in so I'm not tripping.

I flush every week cus if not the perlite will cause salt build up cus of it drying fast. I appreciate the tip I welcome all ideas as this is a new way of growing for me but I'm getting the hang of it and I say after about three grows I'll be on point!!!

Yea I think 3 more weeks will be plenty. If she gets too big before then I'll flip before then. She is looking very awesome she should be green with all the N she's had lol. She is gonna be a beast and I can't wait. I want monster buds :)

Where did this blue dream come from?
Its a fem seed from Humboldt Seed Organization. Lots of people throw dirt saying its not the real deal Blue Dream but for one who cant get cuts its the closet thing. I've had the real deal before but I've heard nothing but great success from people who've grown it. It was Attitude's best strain for 2014 so its some good in these beans. I've seen nothing but fire from their beans and I'm gonna be getting a couple of their new strains. There's a couple guys on here growing it too.

Lol you silly bro!!! I don't pay that any mind  I hear what you saying but I know when breeding and all of that its certain phenos and all that but I believe this is the closest your gonna get to the "clone only". I think this will be what I like cus I am a Haze man and this is very Hazey with hints of blueberries . I'm very satisfied with this strain and once I get my new place next year I'll def grab her again as this is one I'm growing fond of

Had to top off with 10L of fresh water today. This girl is drinking like crazy with the high temps. Temps aren't that bad maxing out at 84 humidity at 45%. She's starting to get really big so I'm sure she's gonna start drinking more anyways. Things are looking great not gonna touch her for a few days then train some more. Will throw some pix up tomorrow.

How many gollons does your system hold?
The pots are 10 gallons and the res is 20 gallons but I only fill it up half way as I flush every week and would waste a ton of nutes if I filled it all the way up. I used a 20 gallon res for the simple fact I'm prolly gonna add another pot to the system and do a two plant grow next. Plus it helps if I over feed and get nute burn I can add more water to it.

I've been doing some studying and research on hydro with pH and ppms as I'm always trying to learn since this is new to me. The only way to get good is by studying the right info and practicing which I'm doing now. I'm not having a major issue but I'm having that small pH issue I was having in the beginning again.

But this time it's only been 3 days since a flush and fresh nute change and the pH is dropping fast. Last night it was 5.8 this morning it was 5.1. I'm just tryna figure out what's causing this.

Now from the research I've done if ppms is rising and pH is dropping the res has too much nutes in it and if ppms are dropping and pH rising then there's not enough nutes. I get that but what I'm not getting is ok after I flush with pHed water I let the plant soak it up for a few hours and while doing that I mix the res. Now I've been keeping track of what the ppms are after mixing the res and every week when I have fed the next day ppms have gone done which indicates that it wasn't enough nutes but does it need to go down everyday to conclude that it wasn't enough.

I'm asking that cus after a couple days since the ppms went down the first time the ppms have started to rise which is indicating too much nutes. It's confusing me tho cus they're going down 24 hours after the initial feeding but following days its rising which I'm sure is what's causing the fast pH drop. I'm just tryna figure out why this keeps happening.

Obviously it's not hurting the plant as we can see the plant is healthy and growing but I'm trying to figure out if I'm still under feeding or over feeding. It's really confusing me cus I have no nute burn no deficiencies what's so ever. This is open to any and all who may have experience with hydro that could shed some light as to why this is happening.

Flushing is a long process as I have to carry this water back and it's very heavy and it kills my back which I have a bad back from car accident so I don't want to have to be flushing and I don't want to have to use pH adjusters constantly throughout the day just to keep the pH in range cus that will really fuck things up. Somebody who knows what could be causing this please tell me. Would be greatly appreciated. Oh and I took out about 10L of water in the res and added 20L of non pHed water to dilute nutes and bring pH back up to see if I need to use less nutes

Yea I'm def gonna need info on this ASAP as the pH has went down .5 after adding all the fresh water in this morning. Something is causing this to happen and I need to get it under control or I'm gonna be flushing every 3 to 4 days and I don't have time for that plus the water won't be bubbled if I have to flush now so I gotta figure this out

silica is funky with the ph is what I read! your temps only hit 84 max so I don't think you need it bro. it would be better to have better ph spot on and not drift around :)

just my 2 cents homie I wish you lived somewhere near me and I could just come over and offer an opinion instead! ha :)

Silica is funky but I know what it does and it rises pH not make it drop so I know its not the Silica. I've been doing some more research and found a thread on ICmag with a guy having the same problem and his was root rot. So I'm about to go check the roots now but last I checked I saw one root hair coming up through the perlite and it was nice and white so I don't wanna think its root rot as this plant is healthy with no deficiencies or leaf discoloration.

I'm really puzzled by this cus if this happen I'm either gonna use more nutes cus I'm gonna have to flush more or imma have to go through a couple bottles of pH up to keep it in range. I'm still optimistic as this grow is light years ahead of the last but I really wanna get this taken care of. Shit bro I wished I lived close too cus I need somebody who's into growing like me to help me figure this out. I have no one that I know that could come and help so that's why I stay on here talking to people trying to learn stuff. Damn somebody help!!!!!

Have you checked your res temp lately bro? I try and keep mine around 21-22 celcius (69-71 fahrenheit). Anything above 73 will cause root rot...

Yea res temps are fine bro. Temps stay in 68-70 the res is outside the closet so its not getting hit with high temps. I just went and checked the roots so its not root rot. This is frustrating me some seriously and I usually keep a cool head. I cant figure out whats causing this.
