First let me say I got good vent going on ill put up good pictures tomorrow if I get good rep+. I can actually go 7 inch from the 1000watter with the tops. :hump:

1. Starting with T8 Florescence (1 Month) and now went with a 1000w hps for the next 2 weeks of veg before switching to flowering. Good Idea?

2. Is running a 1000w hps WITH a co2 2 burner gen in a 4x4 x8 room too much, or even a good idea as long as my temp is below 85%?

with co2 you are going to want higher temps and brighter light so the plant can metabolize faster. with 1000w you might not even need 2 full weeks of veg. Are you using soil or hydro? what kind of nutes? i in hydro you might consider only veging for a week. this all depends on how large you want your plants to be when finished. if they are from seed they can double and even tripple in height after switching to flowering. clones dont generally stretch as much but you will still see very rapid growth with the 1000w. is you room sealed or do you exhaust the air through your hood? if its not sealed it will be very hard to keep co2 concentrations high enough to benefit the plant.

Wow thanks the best rep yet.
check back in about an hour or two and ill have pictures up.

Well Im using hydro with (veg) Seni A & B, Root excel, Multi zen for this first grow of this room. My room is air tight but with inline and exhaust.

A 'burner' in a tent?

Sounds like not a good idea. A tank perhaps, but a burner in an area that small and flammable ......

nice setup! is the front always open like that? if so it will be hard to keep co2 concentrations up. for that small space you may consider using a passive co2 system. something as simple as a tank run with a hose run into a jug of water and open a bit. some where on here some one used gatorade bottles with vinegar and baking soda in them. also pull that floro out and use the 1000w. your plants will grow faster. set up a veg area with the floro and start your next crop under it.

Im taking the floro out tomorrow. im having troubles with breakers breaking with the ballast. Yes It has closed doors which make the room air tight. So with that said I came to the conclusion that im going to run the other side of the light out of the room, which suck air out of the outside and threw the light and out the other side of the room no air going threw the room just threw the light since i am running XXXL magnum with glass plate. so My co2 will work just fine now with that problem out of the way what do I do about the air inside the room? I have an inline hole with no fan hooked up YET. once i get a fan on there i should be fine but where would the air escape from? should I hook up a "T" duct to the exhaust which will pull air threw my inline hole WITHOUT pulling too much co2?

your plan sounds good, i prefer to duct my hoods that way when i can. it virtually eliminates any heat from the light. if your temps are acceptable then you only need to worry about exhausting the room at night, if you are using co2. for a room that small a simple 4" inline fan would be enough air flow. you may consider making 2 vent holes, one for the light and one for the exhaust fan. if you are concerned about smell then use a can filter and a 4" blower. it looks like you could easily mount the fan and filter in the upper corner and not interfere with your canopy. most likely the room isnt perfectly sealed and that should let enough air in. if it is air tight you will have to put in a passive vent hole. be sure to build a light trap around you vents so you wont have to worry about light pollution.

its hard to tell in the pics, but you do have a blower hooked up to that hood and duct right? and whats the square thing hanging from the ceiling in the back? is that your co2 generator? if so what does it run on? you will probably want a stronger oscillating fan in there as the plants get bigger. look in to getting one that mounts on the wall.

you may want to take as many bends out of the duct for the hood every bend takes away a % of the fans ability to draw air
