1000w DE bulb(ushio) vs 1000w MH in veg advise need.

Hi guys,
I would like to hear from people that has been switched to DE bulb (gavita, ushio)

Do you guys use MH for veg still ?

Will 18-20 hr from DE bulb stress plant is veg process too much ?

I don't know what you mean by DE. But u can veg your plants under 24 hours of light. That I do know.

DE mean Double Ended bulb type. Gavita , Ushio ETC. new design

Whats up man, Thought I would give you some feed back. I had to use the gravitas this cycle to veg because my official veg room wasn't ready. I am about a month and a half from seed and flipped them a few days ago. Each plant is over a foot and a half tall to two feet. They have been doing great with no signs of stress. Keep in mind though you do need to consider that the gravitas do get hot and are actual greenhouse fixtures so you will need some clearance. Hope this helps

Are you using gavitas pro the ballast connect to the reflector type?

Yes, Ballast, Reflector and bulb are all connected, they come with long cords as well so you can really get some distance from your outlets or lighting controller. If you have good air flow these are bad ass fixtures!
