1 seed 2 sprouts auto hijack (pics)

im a pure newbie and use the newbie forum but i thought i might get some more advice here.

i have an auto hijack fem seed that popped 2 sprouts out of one seed. i have done some reading on this but have not seen this issue with an auto seed.

my question is what should i do? let them ride as twins growing together or seperate like other have done with reg or fem seeds?

just wondering if anyone else has seen this or had this happen. also looking for any advice with pros and cons about seperating.

thanks!

Pics... daily! New favorite grow to watch!
you got it man. this is my new hobby and i hope to get advice thru this grow. i have read thru about 20 grows and i cant get enough. i just wish i had more time to research and learn.

here is a run down of what i have going so far.

on oct 12th i germed some seeds i had laying around. 12 germed and im down to 6 in the 3rd day of flower. i did this for practice for the seeds i ordered. to me the time invested into a grow is just to much to waste. forget about the money....its the time that hurts.

at this point i have 3 small areas going. i have the veg area for seeds and little plants with right nodw just 2 40 was 4ft shop lights (i read a few times they dont need a ton of light). this is where the twins and purple pineberry (ordered seeds) and 6 or 7 bag seed i just got 2 days ago (i have some in rockwool and some in seedling dirt). so my plan is to see what works best since i had free seeds to play with.

i have a cfl area with like 20 cfls. mostly 1750 lumens with the clear blue like color and 2 daylight like color. i had all the plants started here and grew for about a month and a week or 2.

my 3rd area is my hps area. i have 2 150w hps lights i used years ago and fired right up after i dinally found them.

switched 3 of the 6 left into the hps area 2 or 3 weeks ago still under 24hr light just like cfl area. cfl grew fuller shorter plants and hps they sky rocketed in height.

a few days ago i put them on a 18/6 timer in both areas to determine who the girls are. then put all the girls (praying for 3) under hps to finish them out.

here are some pics of what i have going and how the twins are doing today.

Sanni you really think so? I have seen it go either way. I,m curious to see if superloud is right and if they are in fact male?

dont say that! i just pulled 2 males from my 6 bag seed plants last night. one was 34in and my best plant that i put sooo much time in. thats why i got fem seeds to avoid the space and time waste. lets think positive and the twins are both smokin hot girls.

from what ive seen eventually one out grows the other, and than takes up too much of the light while making it shady for the other, causing the other to die

That keeps happenin' to me too lol...best plant always wants to throw out nuts like some kinda sick joke :(

The twins will be hot girls

well i pulled another male last night of the bag seed 12 plants. i tossed 3 that were weak, 6 were males, and have 3 females under 2 150hps and 12 1800 lumen cfl combo.

i need this hijack to make it! im going to let the twins roll i just hope they make it cuz i only have 1 more fem going right now.

Besides that one will shade the other (the same) one will win below the ground as well. I've had 4 twins this year and even when separated one is less vigorous. Your miles may vary of course, but not likely while they are in the same pot so close to each other. You can still separate them by turning that soil into mud, i.e. wash out the soil, and then transplant them to separate pots.
