This plant started Tall & Skinny
https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/323233-tall-scrawny.html?pagenumber=

I topped it and planted the cutting in a pot

The lower leaves were 5 fingered
It is now outdoors and the next few inches of growth was 3 fingered, but the last few are 1 fingered with no serration on the edges

Some of the other plants were 5 fingered at the base, but new growth since planting outdoors are 3 fingered

PH 7
Nit Med to High
Phos Low
Pot Med to High

Midwest Sun from 9:30AM til 7:00PM

Soil hasn't been wet, but we've had at least one rain every week and topsoil dries but moisture meter has always reported moist

What to do??

Thanks

Your giving this plant basically 12/12 in the early stages from what I gather. 12/12 will mess with a plants growth cycle(when its not ready for flowering yet), since one cycle has been skipped. Ive seen some go from 1 finger to 3 to 5 and ones like yours that do the opposite.

they look like they are confused...when you had them inside you probably had them on a light schedule of 18-6, then you took them outside where they only get 9 1/2 hours of light! does it rain a lot where your at? is it cloudy all the time right now? the humidity could be why the leaves are rounded off like that.

The light schedule indoors (til 2 1/2 weeks ago) was 12/12

We've had mostly sunny days w/ weekly rain that keeps the soil registering moist on the moisture gauge. Low to average humidity

Any ideas what to do?

yeah when you cut the top off you should have put it in a rock wool cube, put it under florescents with a dome over it. then put the light at 18-6 or even 24 hours a day. open the dome three to four times daily and spray with a set ph water. after you see rooting out of the bottom transplant to soil. veg for four weeks before sending into flowering. thats the only way to do that right.....
