I just moved this thread from a different section in an effort to get some help. Hey everyone, please help, i'm all of a fluster. I've been using everyones favourite MOM for a while but, 2 days ago when i tried to go to their site it seemed my connection has been blocked, the same thing happens when i try to access this forum so, i've had to use a proxy to get myself in here to post this!!!! Has anyone had similar problems or have an idea of what can be happening? I only ever use my home internet connection and i CAN access other .biz and marijuana related sites but, i cannot access my MOM site or this forum without using a proxy, i'm confused as this has only been apparent for the last 2-3days. I have also asked a friend with a diffrent ISP to try the site and it works no problem for him without a proxy, i'm with Virgin Broadband, could they be blocking me? Any help offered is more than appreciated. Oh, i'm UK resident, if that makes a difference. Thanks again Nel.

could be alot of things blocking it...especially if your using vista. if you are using vista 1. make sure your an administrator 2. make sure parental controls are turned off 3. make sure windows defender or windows firewall isnt blocking your websites 4. make sure windows explorer itself isnt blocking websites

i had a problem like yours before and im still unaware of what caused it but i eventually had to restore the computer. your problem may be different though and if i was you i would check all your security settings including security settings for any routers or modems you might have.

I have sorted it although, as we're you, I am unaware what actually caused the problem but, a hard-reset/reinstall of my router seemed to do the trick. It was really weird tho as it was only like 2 sites affected, have to wait and see if it happens again.
