ok me and a friend were having a discussion today and I told them that they may want to use photobucket for pics (since its supposed to ruin a threads integrity if a user removes the pictures....)

well In my eyes i say screw the thread if it comes down to me feeling like my safety and freedom is being jepordized because of a picture/post that ive made in the past. am I wrong for thinking like this even though nothing has already happened like that in the past?

and then the new user told me that they have the option to remove their attachments without being an elite member. I was like WTF???? ive never seen that.

see no option to delete my own pictures....(which is why i use photobucket in the first place)

im ill if someone else is able to without becoming an elite member and i cant.

I'm in the same boat kochab. I would really like to take down some pics. I don't have the delete option either (or I'm just retarded and can't find it). would love to know why others have this option and I don't.

It's easier to grow rocks then it is to become "Elite" I saw the link earlier, but it's gone..
I know the're working on a payment plan...besides pay pal..which is good....I don't use credit cards on-line.....but shit..

i remember that we weren't able to way back before all this "elite" options were ever about. They said that it messed up the integrity of the thread. But in my eyes my safety comes before the integrity of any thread on riu.
This is where my photobucket came into play.
But this newer member or riu, who is not an elite member, said that they can delete their attachments, and told me how they got there in a pm.
you can see by my little pictures of my web browsers page, I dont have them where they said they should be.

Ive thought about making a different account and deleting this one because of the pictures. My wife aint going to pay for an elite membership for me and i aint working right now (seeing how that is supposed to be one of the props to that).

anywho i gotta get the hell outta here soon im helping a friend move.

Unfortunately it seems to be elite only? I'm not sure why, start a thread in the Suggestions forum and I'll definitely post my support for allowing everyone to delete attachments. This is what it looks like from my side...
