Hello

I have been using this site for a long time, and posting in it for a little while. I love this site above all others for many reasons, but one thing that has kept me from using it as much is what is displayed in the title bar of my browser when Im on any main page. Im sure most of you know what I mean, the title bar simply says "marijuana Growing".

Now I am very proud to be a farmer and I never have to worry about anyone but me using my computer, but on more than one occasion I will have a friend over that is unaware of my hobby (as 99.9% of my friends are), and Ill go to get on my computer to show them a cool video or load a game and Ill have RIU minimized. The friends that have asked what the "marijuana Growing" is all bout on my task bar aren't the ones Im worried about. I simply tell them a friend or relative of mine in another state is growing and I am following his log because I want to "someday" grow myself. The ones I am most worried about are the ones that see it and dont say anything at all. I could probably never say anything to convince them Im not growing, and its very uncomfortable.

I know this is not RIUs fault or anything, I should keep my shit closed out. However, I wondered if anyone knew a way to edit what a particular web site will display in the title bar, so I can leave RIU open but minimized and not have to worry about "marijuana Growing" sticking out like a sore thumb on my task bar. Till then I will just have to remember to keep it closed, its just a shame to close it out every time when chances are I will be opening the page back up again multiple times that day.

Any help is appreciated. Again, this is in no way a complaint towards RIU just a cry for help, hoping that someone else has this issue and has found a fix for it.

There is no way to alter the title bar yourself. RIU would have to edit the META tags in the HEAD of the Index HTML page.

OK cool, thanks for the reply Breakneck!! Guess I will just have to be more careful. For now I have been opening another blank tab then minimizing firefox so that it just reads "New Tab" down in the task bar, just in case anyone else is in need of a good cover up.
