Indication of a banned user

Now this isn't of great importance... but its a suggestion none the less... and I think it would come in handy for RIU members. Apply some type of visual indication that a user has been banned. Sometimes a spammer or an underage person will come on here and do their thing... and us REAL members are curious to know if they've been banned yet. On most forums, it will say "banned" under their name... and their name will be a different color (brown is a good one). Also, their avatar will be gone. Here at RIU, theres no indication (other than the sudden silence and offline status of the banned member... and thats not very accurate).

I know what you're saying, and we've talked about it in the past but haven't decided on anything yet. There is one way to tell now, if there is no scales icon on a members post they have been banned.

There already ARE indicators of a banned user, you just have to look

Like potroast said, there's the missing rep scales. Also, banned users avatars are missing from their posts

can you guys tell me how the points and levels are calculated and how do you get more boxes in your corner.
i only have one box which says LUDACRIS IS ON A DISTINGISHED ROAD.when does that change please.

That box is your rep. Rep points are given and taken away by your fellow members. If you hover over my rep boxes, it'll say Wikidbchofthewst has a reputation beyond repute.

The way you GIVE rep is by clicking on the little silver scales in the top right hand corner of a person's post. You choose to either approve or disapprove, and then you leave a comment for the person. People give out plus rep for good info, help, whatever you want really, it's yours to give out

If you go to My Rollitup and scroll all the way down, the very last section is your Latest Reputation Received. It'll tell you the last 10 reps you got, with a link to take you to your post that was repped, and it keeps track of your total rep points.

As you get more rep, your rep gets bigger, you get more boxes, and the rep you give or take is worth more points.
