the search feature no longer works for me, keep getting "database error" page.... is it just me, or is something awry??

I don't think it's worked for me since that 5 minute upgrade a couple of days ago.

I guess it shows how much people use it.

By the way, have you ever heard about a seedbank called the Altitude? I was thinking of ordering some seeds from them and I was wondering if they were legit.

attitude??? havent dealt with them, but from everything i hear, they are a good company.... i used the doc (drchronic).... but anyway, i can search tags and it works, but searching threads doesnt????

I'm still having problems with the search function. It works well enough to tell me that I must wait between searches, but then when the query submitted gets through, I, too, get a database error. Please! Without the search function this site and its utility are severely hampered. I don't even care as much about the gallery links as I do about being able to search the site (and it's a pain in the ass to go through Google, but it can be done, just add @rolllitup.org to your search terms. Is not always complete, though).

j/k man. I see a dozen threads every day asking the same freaking question over and over again which have already been answered a thousand times before. If people would just use the freaking search function it would really improve the signal to noise ration around here.

Of course a prereq would be that the search function works, which rarely seems to be the case.

No, it had been working GREAT, fast, pulling up all the results I was looking for, up until recently.

Now, another thing I've noticed since the search has gotten kludged, and this is weird, is that whenever I mouse over an attachment my arrow turns into the little spinner (shows that it's trying to resolve a url, you dig?). I cannot simply click on the attachment and view it anymore now, I must right-click and I open in a new tab.

Coincidence...?

Had to spend a bit of time dicking around with Firefox 3 last night, java issues. I was HOPING that might give me a better resolution, as it's always easier to fix something if the problem is on my end. I will try the triple-click. This is not normally a click to be used lightly, as for some it could result in The Blue Screen of Death, but I have my own "clicky-condoms" which protect me from overclicking (not to be confused with overclocking).

Search function is being redone atm, Vbulletin changed quite a few things in that last upgrade.
