I'm usually' very careful about leaving windows open on my computer, but as we all know, computers store history and cookies and whatnot. Im concerned with the top of the page for RIU reading "marijuana Growing."

Yes, its a marijuana growing site, but that doesnt mean we need to tell the whole world about it. We emphasize secrecy and extra care in keeping our grow rooms low key, but anyone could spend 5 minutes on our computers and find out what we've been up to. Is there any way we can remove the label at the top of the page, or change it to something not so obvious? Ive had people walk into the room as I'm on here, and even after minimizing, the tab still says it, the window itself says it, and it says it on the bottom toolbar.

Yes I do. The risk is still the same. Just because its my computer doesnt mean I'm the only one who's ever on it.

Its just a risk thing for me. I mean, 99% of the time, I'm the only one on my computer. But there's still that once in a blue moon where someone jumps on it real quick, and I have a minor freak-out wondering if I closed everything that I should have. I left a RIU page up once, and a non-smoking friend saw it. Fortunately he didnt care, but it could have been a potentially hazardous accident.

The Admin of the site has it set for promotion, this has been the policy since the site started early 2006 99.5 % of traffic is from google and keywording everything. To expect this to change is highly unlikely

yup that spot at the top of page is what search engines use to find stuff.
i accidently left a window open one day and a customer came into my office and says
"what is this marijuana growing"
"I would never let my employees look at illegal things on work computers"

i said no shit i'll have to have a talk with them so this doesnt happen again
so now i'm very careful one scare is enough for me
this customer is an ass as far as weed is concerned he went on ranting and raving about how he hates weed and has never tried it and would kill anyone that tried to give it to his kids blah blah blah. unfortunately this customer is worth about 50,000 to my company

Then the admin of this site doesnt have the best interests of its members in mind.

Thats dissapointing.
