1. Always be respectful and mature when responding to others. Don't call people names and don't otherwise insult other members.

2. Don't give the staff a hard time about the decisions they make or the rules they are obligated to enforce.

3. Put some effort into your grammar, spelling and sentence structure. New sentences should start with a capital letter and end with a punctuation mark. Your browser will have a spell check option. Use it. Run on sentences, bad spelling and excessive grammatical errors makes your posts sometimes difficult and unpleasant to read. The occasional error is not a big deal.. but when a post is full of them, it can become an issue.

4. Read and follow the rules of this site. If you can't seem to locate the site rules, you can find the link to them in my signature (they were written by the owner of rollitup.org). Breaking the rules may result in your being shunned by members, warned or banned.

5. Post your threads in the proper forum/section. There are many different sections and chances are, theres a section specifically made for the topic you want to start.

6. Be helpful. If a member has a question about growing or has a site related question and you feel that you know the answer, don't simply post the link to the FAQ's, be helpful and answer it yourself.

7. If someone has attempted to be helpful... or makes a post that you found interesting, useful or helpful to others, give that member a positive reputation.

8. When giving reputations, be sure to include your name in the reputation comment. This way, the person you are repping will know who sent it. You should do this even if you leave negative reps. One of the most cowardly acts on a web forum is leaving a negative rep without letting the member know who left it.

9. Use the search feature to search for answers to your questions before asking them.

If you follow these basic tips, visiting this site will be much more pleasurable for everyone.
