A weed nerd is a dedicated learner about ALL things cannabis, a true ganja specialist although they can commune with many plants and tend to be strong cultivators. They can listen to weed lore all day without interjecting their opinion as fact, but can kindly put hype and urban legends to rest with points based on BOTH their own firsthand experience and citing research done by others. A weed nerd has an open mind, a steadfast dedication to the plant from propagation to concentrates, and a constant thirst for more relevant knowledge. A weed nerd appreciates concentrates as well as flowers and edibles, and can still converse intelligently about our favorite plant no matter how medicated! A weed nerd truly appreciates and respects the herb and its vibration raising resins! It is definitely cool to be a weed nerd, especially one in a position to share their knowledge and experience with others and help build up our cannabis community to higher heights!

A true weed nerd owns a pair of night-vision goggles so he can work in his grow room in darkness without disturbing his plants. He wears a pocket-protector while clipping, so he doesn't get resin stains on his shirt from his scissors. He likely owns a high-powered microscope so he get up close and personal with his trichomes. He's also likely modified his computer monitor to emit only green light, so that he can stay up all night playing Dungeons and Dragons Online and reply to RIU threads 24 hours a day from his grow room without waking up the only girlfriend he's ever known, Mary-Jane. Also, he likely cuts up old issues of "Scientific America" to use as rolling papers.

To me being a weed nerd is someone who is constantly evolving within the ganja world. An individual who immerses themselves within cannabis and love of this supreme plant! A person who listens to their plants needs and responds with love and urgency like you would with a needy child...Someone who finds that balance in life while still creating the best, cleanist medicine for patients,family, and friends to enjoy!! I also see weed nerds as informative when at all possible; sharing the art with others freely to improve their dank game!

Thanks all nerds for helping me up the ante in my garden!! Best people and threads are within these pages!! Much love and respect!!

...i like #1 too, but to me, your not a weed nerd unless you are a Philanthropist, and "share the abundance" above anything else.........that is why i am a weed nerd, and appreciate that of Sub, Mz.Jill, and TGA.......they are a big part of changing my life around.........i get emotional when i hear Sub and Dave talk about how influential Dave's spirit of giving opened Sub's eyes......and i can say with confidence, without ever even meeting the two of them, that Sub's life changed for the better the very moment of that realization.....it is the secret to contentness, and a fulfilled existance imho.....once you start giving, the whole world will open up to you and those you love, and you become a medium of abundance.......all the most influential and truly enlightened people in History new this as a Universal truth....you must give in order to recieve......when you have nothing left to give....give some more......people keep thanking me for my contributions to this website, but what they need to realize is that it is of no sacrifice on my part....it comes back 10 fold!.......you can have anything you want in this life....all you have to do is be clear of what you are asking for......and give...it is Universal Law......transcending everything.
