My Stance on fem seeds in a brief statement

It's nice to see so many supporting the same ideas but I do want to point out that just as many people love fem seeds and it is alot of work to produce them its not as easy as people think.

All Plants featured have both a Mommie and a Daddy..

One of the things that a truly like about TGA and your methods sub is that you believe in doing things the old fashion way with a male and a female plant. I believe that fem seeds is cheating mother nature and it half way takes the fun out of buying seeds. I don't know about you guys but half the fun of cracking a new pack of regular beans is going on a pheno hunt! I also find great joy in selecting the right plant for my needs.

Don't worry about pressure or following any trend to make fems Sub… I think its cool and unique that you are one of the top breeders who doesn't run a fem line. True growers that understand the value of male x female genetics will always hear where you are coming from and agree with your stance.

I respect what the original poster is saying.

In addition I agree with it to an extent, as well as enjoy culling and choosing phenos.

However there is a time and place for fem seeds, and alot of good points have already been made to back this. For example new growers, although its good to learn this part of growing it can also be difficult for newbies especially when they just care about getting their medicine grown and not all the science behind learning every little detail.. it is also a good time saver for those who often try new strains. Spending upwards of a month germinating growing sexing and cloning is a big chunk of time for alot of people, and although I've gone through the process before I will be buying fem seeds soon for my next grow and dont have the time to do it all again.

Like I said, I respect both sides, but there IS a time and place for both in the industry.

When tested in a lab can they tell the dif in product from fem and reg seed?

I'm a beginer and by far no means crediable. As a guy with a 4ftx3ftx3ft grow bof I've got to say I like the fem autos because I can get meds quick. However once I have a tent/room with a REAL setup. I plan to get to breeding and there will be no fem seeds for me! I breed Bearded Dragons & Cornsnakes and completely understand the importance of male x female genetics. Just wanted to say as I new grower why I personally use them.


Also a question for you sub, I'm no where near ready but if I wanted to breed could I use any of the TGA lineup or would that be too many crosses to be starting off with? Thanks for your time and efforts! P.L.U.R.!

All the seeds I like are all reg. Mns, DJ short, tga, gage green, bodhi...

If a breeder sells fems, makes me think they are trying to make $$ instead of keeping it real.

I say, sex wise, id much rather know if im getting female or male otherwise its a waste of time!
