Why are thin stems on the Vortex bad for scrogging? It rained a bit here today and my weaker stemmed Vortex got a little beat up from it. I was really thinking about installing a screen on my next day off, but now my thoughts have changed a bit lol. Or maybe I'll just do it as a test? What do you think?

Also, what is an easy, organic way to boost calcium. Egg shells? Will ground, uncomposted (fresh) egg shells work?
What about if you made another screen level 6"-1' above the first one to support the branches as they stretched up in the beginning of flower? Just an idea, it would add quite a bit to the top-heaviness of it though. Thanks for the info and ideas as always man, I love this thread!
