Azomax is a 1.2% solution of azadirachtin, an extract from neem oil (extracted with alcohol, I believe). So with it you are getting just the effects of that compound, in a more concentrated form than with the whole oil. There is also a concentrated form of neem oil, clarified hydrophobic extract of neem oil, that is everything
except the azadirachtin.

The registration says that the clarified extract is also anti-fungal. So I guess using the straight azomax would not have an effect on fungi, something you may or may not want to avoid....
