The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly the 2006 Scamabus Cup!

This report was filed in 2006 Just after we returned from the Cup.

Before you read the report know it has nothing to do with the final results, we felt ripped off long before the results were announced. They allowed 22 sativas to enter way more than is possible to be judged when you add 18 Indica’s to bring the total to 40 strains.
I thought at one time I was special to be invited but I just had the coin it’s that simple. Old Pink of Gypsy fame had his own strain and the guy looked like he hadn’t taken a bath in years. In my opinion this is simply a cash cow for the senior members on the staff of HT. The Winning Indica strain is a clone only! That would be like me entering A-13 as Vortex and the cup wouldn’t have meant a lot to me won crooked. Lets get to checking out our adventures and please tell me if you think we were treated as the First medical entry from the USA.

This will take a few days to complete.

We arrived after the flight from hell and then learned the taxis still rip you off as bad as ever and we over paid by 50$ but we did get to the city safely and Amsterdam at night is bad ass. We had a kick ass view of The Grass Hopper from our window.

Since our plane was several hours late we missed Pistils but he had smartly left the buds to smoke out the staff in a hemp bag in the corner and we proceeded to smoke everyone out. I must say the local they were at was extremely seedy and reminded me of what a crack house would look like. They were blown away by all the samples, Candy Store, JTR, Space Queen and Agent Orange as well as ful melt JTR bubble that Mat Stang said and I Quote “ That’s the best Bubble I ever tasted”. We had one large JTR nug and Steve Hager pulled it out and asked if he could smoke it. It retrospect HT was the last people I should have smoked out and saved it for all the other breeders as the ones that tasted out gear were blown away.
We landed several new accounts due to the potency and flavor of our buds and Delta 9 is now growing out multiple strains to supply bud to the Rokeri. We also landed 3 new writing deals with respectable publications in other countries like Italy, Canada, and Germany. We gave seeds to any one in a wheel chair or with any visible illness. We hooked up half the Nocal cash croppers with mass genetics and you boys in Nocal get ready for buds I met 6 of the coolest guys ever opening dispensaries in the towns.

So we received our passes and were told the expo was easy to find just take the shuttle behind central station. When we arrived there were 7 possible docks no signs and its on the North sea. After several trips across the river and back we found the right one. We started walking and after about 20 minutes we were in an old dock yard. No lights cold rainy, MrsJills in a dress and I am in nice slacks unlike the HT crew we do have class.
I am thinking this can’t possibly be it as we turn a corner we see a large red arrow and walk another ¼ mile to what looks like an abandoned warehouse.

These guys look warm and toasty right?

These booths cost 1500$$

Our Booth was a broken table in a freezing ass cold warehouse with 1 foot behind the table to stand 12 hours a day for 4 full days. No table cloth and poor directions sounds like a great deal for 2000$ yes? We couldn’t display the shirts and only had room for about half the banners Pitsils had made. The Couches and Catered food that were promiced was there but we weren’t allowed in that area and a bottle of water was 11$ US.
Matt actually stopped MzJill from going for a coke. If he would have been state side I would have knocked him down the fucking stairs! He did go get her a full liter and some cups but that’s not the point. She was a vendor and dressed to the 9’s and these dumb shits are the most classless fucks I have ever met ( with the exception of Danny Danko).

I think we probably lost at the point cause I was pissed and couldn’t contain it there peon workers at a magazine and have no real respect for what it took to get our entry there or what it takes to create a new medical strain. At this point my focus became all the cool people at the cup and smoking as many of them out as we could. When we ran out of Bud DNA walked over and handed me a huge sack of D-line and it was some of the best weed I smoked the intire time. They were also shut out with 4 entry’s and are also not Dutch! There weed was the bomb and there Connie Chung caramel was the fucking bomb for the trip back! Thanks D and A.

The first coffee shop we went to was The Green House as I love there Jack Herer and to see what Arjan was entering. The guy has gone Ron Popeil with Bobble head dolls and factory bubble packing. They did give us a nice bag of goodies and a good discount but IMO the Haze entry was toilet paper.

The new thing is to label the THC as they think US growers are fucking stupid and are using a gas coronagraph machine even though they can’t afford a decent venue. I told ever one there don’t let em insult you and if this is 36% I assume the bubble we make is 400%.

That night we went and scored some good hash to smoke out all the people coming to see us at the booth and wheile we were at dampkring we had on our competitors laminant. They actually refused to sell HG any bubble so I went back and let em know I had been coming there for a decade and wouldn't be back.

Every single visitor agreed the weed they were buying in the shops sucked and was an insult, you could tell the us growers by there distaste for the weeds flavor.
A group of nice guys from nocal came by and smoked some California Outdoor bubble and it was the best thing I had that day.

I realize its a touch business there but thats just bad karma!

Yummy hair bud, Youd think a display bud would be checked over.

BTW At the expo there were no phones no internet no wireless and one night I emerged to no cabs so I walked in the rain for 45 minutes
If any of you ever see me in public with women on my arm as decorations please beat the living snot out of me?
