Ok got some different info going on here, just want to explain make some things clear. All plants until this point have received H&G nutrients in Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Plants labeled with a straight up name IE: Jack Herer Grape God are the ones receiving the House and Garden treatment while those labeled JH GG are getting the Super Soil treatment. JH + SS 4 scoops denotes 4 large scoops of Super Soil. If you want to see a picture of my measuring device just ask, it's a ladle (think grandma's soup). Both strains are clones and when their mommas are finished flowering I'll show some picks of those, both are 53 days into flower.

The veg tent consists of 6 4 foot T5HO daylight bulbs. Some of the other strains in the veg tent are Pineapple Express, Blue Gum, Exile, Osiris, Tutankhamen, White Widow, Mekong High, and right in the front there 6 Apollo BX.

The flower room is currently a work in progress. I've got 2 600 Watts on Light Rails covering 36 plants. SOG method and rotating close finishers to the center. I'm making the switch to LST starting with the ladies you see here and adding two more 600 Watters. Currently Using 600 Watt Hortilux Super HPS but looking to mix the spectrum a bit. Any bulb suggestions let me know (remember I'm using Lumatek Digi Ballasts. Finishing soon will be Kandy Kush, Chocolope, Grape God, Jack Herer, Sharks Breath and Moby Dick. Others include Tangerine Dream, Frisian Dew, Rocklock, La Blanca, Big Band, Casey Jones, Sour Cream and some stuff that was handed down to me from a local breeder Jack & Blue (Jack Herer X Blue Cheese). I generally take one or two cuttings of each just in case there's a keeper.

All plants will be receiving Great White and Botanicare Cal Mag + ( the + denotes about 2% nitrogen .1% Iron).

This is my first go around with Super Soil and Low Stress Training (I included side view photos to show what that's all about).

Notice anything looking wrong or got a question feel free to school me. Thanks & Enjoy.

great thread, but why ocean forest? not to bash on fox farm.
No specific reason for the Ocean Forest, I know Subcool says it sucks but never have seen a gnat problem around here. Due to Subcool's recommendation I will be changing over to Roots Organic (gotta trust the pros). I've also used Pro Mix, Just Right (which is great), and Metro Mix (which is what I'm currently using to flower, grow store says it holds Phosphorus and Potassium well, but dunno about how legit that is).

would it be fair to uses a soiless against the super soil ? H&G thrives in a good soiless mix.
That's why I love H&G, they literally have everything you need in their nutrient line (well with the exception of a good inoculant, at least here in the states we don't any way). Some strains also need a little more cal mag like the Jack Herer but Grape God is a beast and should do fine with the extra nutes. Another thing about H&G, no problems ever with salt build up which allows you to feed every watering (drip clean is king!) No I'm not a rep just did a shit of research before purchasing a nute line and honestly hope that Super Soil turns out better. Nobody likes mixing nutes. One other thing I can say is that with H&G I have had tremendous smells and flavors yum yum.

You should at least give them both shooting powder at the end otherwise I don't think it will be fair. I've never ran super soil but can attest to the finished product of h&g as both tasty and weighty. I get lots of fruit flies in my fox farm, doesn't stop me from using it. Ill stay tuned to see how this turns out.
