Hey Cageuser I saw your post about what to do with old used up soil.. I dump mine my in to my Worm farms they turn it back in to good dirt with worm castings to use again.. I also have some Compost piles going year round this way i know im giving some good back to Mother earth..
When this stuff is sitting outside "cookin" for a while, would it be a good idea to throw some cedar shavings at the top to help keep bugs from crawling in? I have a lid on it but there are lots of bugs on our farm. Just a Idea for the next time i mix some up. What do you all think??

As i understand this from reading dozens of these pages. This super soil mix is only used in the bottom 1/4ish of the container. Does it ever say what he adds to the rest of the container. Does he use a soiless mix? More roots soil?

LOL so he mixes just the amendments together and then puts the base on top of it? Where exactly is this explained?
