Anyone grow both these strains out? Just looking for opinions , can't seem to make up my mind . Both seem pretty kick ass , which one is a heavier yielder and which one would do best outdoors on the east coast of canada? What do you think subcool ?

jtr kick ass , doesnt last as long as i woulda wanted but one four fot plant gave me four oz dried . so i really like it i used 245 watts cfl plus a 150 hps , no fancy nutes and 14 weeks of duddin but i choped the main colas at 11 and the pop corn budds at 14 and 15 weeks , bery enjoible and sosial , great taste.

if you want chech the last three pages of my jurnal discussion it anit rocket science and you could se sum dried jtr , when i was flowering i had my doubbss about the leggity of my seeds since i get them from a friend cus i cant risk having them ship to my house but after 11 weeks it came tru and i love the smoke . i must say i dont use fancy ligthing or nutes or even co2 ... and i think i over fert and she took it like a laidy...

JTR is suppose to be a 8 or 9 week plant, when you guys say 11 and 14 , 15 weeks is this from seedling to finish or when the lights went 12/12 to finish? Just wanna clear things up , do the majority of JTR pheno's take longer than the 8 or 9 weeks subcool posts ? Vortex is listed as 45- 50 day strain i believe and how does its yields compare to JTR?

8-9 week plant means that from the time you can tell sex to harvest. You can veg a plant for as long as you want.

Ya know kidding, the 2 other people that replied have stated that they harvested at 11 weeks and the remainder of the plant at 14 and 15 weeks . My question to them is ,the finishing times that they state is that just flowering time or are they adding the veg time in to that. What i am getting at is the JTR an 8 or 9 week flowerer or are the majority of the phenotypes finishing at 11 to 15 weeks flowering. In subcool's thread on JTR I believe he says they harvest there pink lemonade pheno at 9 weeks . Anyone else seem to find that pink lemonade pheno in a pack of 10 seeds?

JTR finishes roughly 8-9 weeks after onset of 12/12 lighting.

vortex is the shiznaticus rex. I haven't tried jtr, but jc2 is the lemoniest thing ever(including lemons!), and is the cleanest clearest high I've ever had. the vortex is more spatially disorienting..jack's cleaner 2 for any appearances on jeopardy, and vortex just 'cause you can't live without it. there's an extra hashy pheno of vortex I call 'terminatrix'(judgement day)..she's the queen on the chessboard.

Good to hear about TGA strains , I can't make up my mind , i want some JC2 also. Got some space bomb on the go along with some critical mass from Mr nice. Like to make some nice crosses with the Critical mass, maybe i will bite the bullet and get all 3 strains.

I have 6 TGA strains going. I have harvested the Chernobyl, JC II, JTR, and Snow Dawg. I don't use Sub's super soil and I only have 2-400W HPS and 300W of UV lighting (3-26W CFL's). Although I harvested the first 2 Ch's after 8 weeks I found they really need 9-10 weeks from the time I put them in the flower room, not the time I start seeing buds form but from the day they go into 12/12..... I left the JTR pheno that I cut the mother down out of disappointment, go for 11 weeks. It has 30% amber and is getting the ax tomorrow. It is very airy and doesn't have that good of a buz. You are going to find the shit ones just like you will find the awsome ones, randomly. But for the most part they all finish in 9-10 weeks for me.....
