Default 5 o'clock's subcooled garden.....
I had planned a haze craze grow but decided to put it on hold. After reading more and more about Subcool's strains I wanted to try his first. I ordered sseeds from Hemp Depot. Brad was very helpful and even set me up with 2 free packs of snowdawg because they didn't have the one per house hold up yet and sent me 2 packs of 5 seeds because I ordered 6 different strains. I malied my order and got a response in 7 days. I recieved my seeds in about 12 because I was using someone elses address.

I took 2 seeds from each pack and put them in a papertowel. The Vortex and Chernobyl cracked in 24 hours! I checked this morning and the Dairy Queen and Jacks Cleaner also cracked after 36 hours. Now the only one left is the JTR. I didn't germ the Querkel, I'm saving it for later with my reeferman Grapefruit.

I built a new cabinet to house the mothers and clones so I could use my entire grow room for this grow. I will update and have discussions in this thread but will post a grow journal that only I will post in so you won't have to skip through pages of jibber to see pic updates.

I do have a question for sub though. The Dairy Queen is a c-99 crossed with a cheese. Is this the UK Cheese? If so have any of the seeds grown out show the double sererated edges? I'm very excited to have real genetic's now as my last 2 grows were with bag seeds.

I'm usually very busy during the summer and don't have the time for this but I will have my wife helping me this time. I will post pic's later tonight.....

i know cinderella theres a guy local to me grows it solely and has done for years its amazing stuff like pineapple sherbert smells unreal, but to mix that with cheese would be dynamite i so hope for your sake it is the uk cheese but i doubt it will be its more likely the big budda cheese.

I typed this up once but the system crashed on me while trying to load the pic's and I never post the same shit because I forget it after I write it. I'll try to remember what i wrote.....

I ordered the seeds from Hemp Depot (thanks Brad). I ordered them and recieved an e-mail telling me that the order had been recieved and was processed and a response was mailed within 7 days. The mail took 12 days to reach me because I didn't have it sent to me and had a foreward address invloved.

All of the seeds I germinated have cracked except for 1- Jacks Cleaner II, 1- Jack the Ripper, and 1- Dairy Queen. Then as I was taking the pic's I realized that i forgot to put the Snowdawg's in to germinate. Took care of that promptly.....

I built a new cabinet for the Clones and mother's. The lower shelf is for the clones and mom's. I put the ballast under the water tub for the clones because I have found that if I do this it keeps the water temps up. I had the tub on the concrete floor before, the temps were below 65 and I never got roots. Now the water is between 70 and 73 depending if the lights are on or not, and the clones get roots in a week rather than 3, and after 3 weeks are ready for the soil..... I have my T-5 4 bulb fixture directly over the mom's and a T-12 4'-2 bulb 40w light that also catches the mom's as well as the the clones. It has a plant bulb and a daylight bulb.....

The second shelf is above and it houses the rooted clones. There are 4- 40w T-12 bulbs. 3-plant bulbs and a daylight bulb..... I can fit 3 or 4 plants in a tay depending on how long I intend to veg them. There are gaps at each end to let the air up to the second shelf and then out the exhaust at the top. The exhaust pulls air in through a small opening at the bottem and draws it's air across the ballast to warm the air. It stays about 74 to 78 depending if the ballast are on or not.....

I have the whole 4x4 flower room for the clones to go in after veg..... The plants will first go under the MH 400w bulb for their first weeks in 12/12. Then they will slide to the right and slowly make their way to the 400w HPS. I want to put reptile lights in between the MH and the HPS to simulate the spring to summer to fall sun. Start out under the MH and when they slide to the center they will get hit with the MH and HPS and the reptile lights, and finish under the HPS..... I feel this will give the MH as a spring sun and the MH, HPS, plus the reptile lights (bringing in the UVA and the UVB) like a strong summer sun and finally finishing under the 400w HPS like a warm fall sunset.....

I put the clones in soil and let them veg for 3 weeks before i put them in the flower room.

I'm excited to bring true genetic's like UK Cheese, C-99, and Train Wreck into my garden. Thanks Sub for your great line up..... I have read some shit posted by someone who won't give their name that said Sub was a pollen tosser. I don't know Sub and have no reason to stroke his ego. If these seeds turn out to be shit I will tell you they are shit. But if they are the best thing I've put in my bong I will tell you that also. I have no allegience to anyone but myself and will pull no punches. Follow along and let's find out if this is indeed the real deal.....

Welcome to 5 o'clocks Sub Cooled Garden.....

I'm so impatient. I went and checked on the JCII and the JTR seeds. Both have now cracked although the tap root isn't much more than a white speck busting through the seams of the seeds. I hope the Snowdawg's won't be too far behind as they were overlooked for 48 hours..... Now that's pretty fucking good for a pollen tosser to have all 10 seeds cracked in just over 48 hours... Hat's off to you Sub.....
