I've always planted directly into Ocean Forest: seeds, clones, whatever. I have almost no problems and even when I do its little to no burning and its never killed anything. Just add some perlite, it should be good on the PH. But you should definately add nutes after a few weeks-month or so and absolutely have to add nutes during flowering.

Small batch? hmmmm without going through all the prices (which I could do for you if you like)

I would say roughly 100 -150 dollars

This would allow you to make enough soil for roughly...10 is pots...

Again I could do more exact calculations if you like.
