Hey subcool, first off thanks for being The Green Avenger. I picked up a high times the other day and holy moly, its subcool and some serious gear. What a nice suprise, congrats on that.
Now on to the business at hand. What TGA strain would you recommend for a ebb & flow sea of green? Ideally i'm looking for something that will stay short, yield high and taste great. (isn't everybody?) I just cant seem to pick one out.

These are the pinnacle of my works.
Here are some of the grower reports turned in on Vortex
I tend to keep herb for the enjoyment of the buzz only secondary to the enjoyment of the flavor, so you can probably assume without a reasonable doubt that this pheno tastes great. Secondly this herb has a very unique buzz, which I will try to explain from two peoples point of views. My wife says that this Vortex tastes like a tropical fruit smoothie made with sour cream, I assume she means she finds it has a fruity taste with a sour secondary. Her experience with the buzz is very energetic, she can not smoke anywhere near bedtime as it keeps her mind awake even though her body is drained. Now me, it tastes like Apollo of old with a slight sour undertone, for anyone who had the pleasure of growing or smoking real Apollo…. very apollo ”YOU DIG”. I find the buzz to be very heady and quite effective for reliving aches, make sure munches are available because your stomach knows not the powers of Vortex. This Vortex Phenotype is not a huge yielder, and will not win any beauty contests that’s for sure but for someone who has a connoisseur palette the genetic makeup of Vortex makes for some mighty stony, awfully tasty herb, Peace and keep well. 7 Females from 10 seeds. Three strongest kept for further testing. The four flowered might as well have been clones. Some subtle differences while growing and start of flowering but the end products almost looked identical. I went 70 days, it could have gone longer (hoping faster by clone) This is what my back and head is enjoying the most. Friends I've let sample have all said the same thing ... "I've never had herb like this before". Its just much different from any commercial, all TGA gear is that way when it comes down to it, spent two years in Van recently and bought a lot of high end commercial and had nothing even remotely close to this herb. Ya it all looks insane ( the commercial) but its just like tomatoes at the supermarket, all looks.
Very gooey obviously. Definitely more sativa and has a very pungent sour tropical fruit/ammonia smell that no ziplock can confine. Two tokes is all that's needed for this med user but of course we rarely stop there when it tastes this good. Finger sized joint, inhale ... pack the lungs ... push it deeper ... EARS tingling .... EARS ringing .... exhale and mellow rush comes over the body. Inhale ... pack lungs ... push it deeper ... ears ringing .... eye's getting floaters and stars ... exhale and paterns start to form on the carpet and ceiling if you let your focus fade.
Repeat .... repeat ..... repeat ...... testing .... Major Tom to ground control .... its so beautiful up here man! Very High with slight body stone, found myself thinkin' "man, I'm high as sh$t" but totally in control. Positive , positive meds. If you just "smoke" your joint ya you'll get wrecked, but if you really take it deep and pack your lungs taking all you can from this stuff ... that's where you need to be.
No ceiling, smoke more ... more high .... smoke more .... more high No burn out, but you sleep well at the end of the day. You may also be stoned part of the next day.

Lineage if known: Apollo 13 x Space Queen
Grower: Dame900rr
Judge: PapaDank A.K.A "The pot snob"
Type (sativa/indica ratio): 80/20 (Breeder description) Sample appeared to have slightly higher "body" feel than the 20% listed above. Maybe 70/30.

<10> Aroma (Best described as a sweet, lemony, floral, "leathery" smell. To date, This strain and JTR are the best samples I've ever smelled. Both from the same grower)

COMMENTS: This report is based on samples received to me by another grower. I did not grow this sample. Based on that, I feel my description is accurate and fair.

Visual/Smell - The well grown sample used in this report was gorgeous. Copious, visible trichomes adorned her "velvety", pale green bud. She was like cotton candy to the feel. A true sign of not only her superior genetics, but also a sign of a well grown bud. I opened the plastic bag she was in and took a deep smell. The first thing I noticed was sweet "perfumy", "leathery" smell with a light hint of lemon and a hashy finish. It was similar to a perfume my niece wore when she was a little girl. Very "sweet" and floral. Once I removed the bud from the bag, the lemon, industrial smell really started to come through. When I broke the bud up, the industrial, piney, lemon smell was over powering. It took a while to make it to my bowl as I was mesmerized at all the smells I was enjoying. I've never smelled anything like in my life.

The SMOKE: Once the sample finally made it to my bowl and I hit the flame, the first taste I noticed was a heavy pine, industrial, lemon pledge thing that finshed with a little hash. It was amazing. Her soft, sweet smells were short lived when the reality of Vortex came through. First hit was lung expanding! Her smoke was almost toxic. It was so strong. My nose tingled and she made short work of my lungs. I was shocked and not expecting that. 100% expectorant the lungs She is a deceptive one for sure! Once the coughing stopped and the lungs were cleared, I had a sweet smell left in my nose and on my face. I smelled it for hours.

The High: The high to me, was very similar to a great Haze. I had that warm, happy euphoric feeling. Makes a dark, rainy, winter day nice. I would have liked to be in a cabin in the mountains on this smoke. I noticed that listening to Bluegrass/mountain music was really nice on Vortex. Although not as " Trippy" and visual as JTR, still great none-the-less. Very creative feeling overall happy feeling was experienced on Vortex. She ended with the giggly, everything is funnier than it should be feeling (you all know what i'm talking about).

Medicinal efficacy-Vortex has been a better pain killer than JTR for some reason. To be fair, I was smoking both together the first day I got this, but the Vortex seemed to make it better. This report is under the influence of Vortex only. Maybe it's this sample. Vortex is great for depression, anxiety and pain for medical users, although I suggest using higher amounts for pain relief. Simply put, this weed makes you happy and feel good. Almost at peace.

Conclusion- Vortex is one of the best strains I've ever smoked. This was made easy by the fact it was grown and well cured by a really good grower. Vortex and JTR have some of the best "highs" and smells you'll ever experience. So much so, I have decided to buy everthing I can afford for my medical tent and get rid of everything else except for my keeper G13/WW/NL cut. This was my first time smoking any TGA gear and I now know what I've been missing. I can still smell this strain in my head. I can only hope and pray what I grow will even come close to this sample. Time will tell.

While I've got you,I've had a crook back for 30 yrs,had x-rays and diagnosed with osteopnia.
You mentioned that you have weed for all occasions or troubles,any suggestions?
For now I'm growing 3D,JB & have got chernobyl on bid.
Oh I'm a 41 yr old guy.

I figured if enough people grew reefer that eventually the laws would have to change. Well I under estimated the bad guys but in the same turn they have under estimated The Green Avengers as well.
People world wide grow my gear and have taken up my fight even if they’re not aware of it. Every pack of seeds sent is another soldier in my peaceful farming army.
Twelve years later the battle continues and now people grow using my methods and breed new strains using my base line genetics and I could not be prouder.
Mission Accomplished!

So what is a Green Avenger today?

A Green Avenger is the guy or girl you know that has the Dankest reefer and the coolest bongs.

You can tell when ones in the room because everyone will be smoking their bud and asking them questions.
