can u explain what happens to buds if they start to re-veg. i tryed to finish my first harvest outside about 6 weeks in and by week 8 i had alot of leaves poping out of my buds but the lil hairs where amber so i choped it and left some to finish in the flower room , so far they have tons more crystals on them than b4. the smoke is good but i feel like adding that extra 2 hours(14hr days) outside threw week 7 and 8 fucked my plant

The flower/bloom cycle of cannabis is controlled by a chemical/hormone that builds up during dark hours, so during veg with only 6 hours dark, the plant doesnt build up enough of this hormone to trigger flowering responce... once dark hours are lengthenned then slightly more hormine is produced during 12hrs dark than is destroyed during 12 hours light... so after roughly 2 weeks the hormone builds up to a level that triggers the flowering stage..

We call this "the Trigger" and while some strains will still flower in 13 and even some sativas in 14 hours of light most growers stick with the tryed and true 12/12 method and if you place a plant outdoors it can revert back into the vegative state.
This is what it sounds like you have done.
