So I inherited a bunch of assorted grow lights from an old friend the other day and when I went to pick them up I of course broke out the c4 I had and we got to smoking. I'd met his friend a couple times before in passing and both of them are like 10-15 years older than me. So, you know, being old and shit hehe they got to telling their stories. He started telling me about the one time he ever tried to grow. He had some really nice sativa he'd gotten a clone of, had it in his back yard. Now he loved this plant. For months he ate dinner with it, took it into the bathroom when he showered to let it get a little mist, treated it better than any human he's ever known, he says. Well, one day he leaves out for some reason, comes back later and his landlord or whatever had cut the grass. And in his back yard he could see where they'd just cut right around it. so he freaks out, runs it out to his truck and straps it in the passenger seat. He was going to take it to the friend that was giving me the lights but the landlord had called the cops and one was sitting right there waiting. He pulled him over, walked up to the car with this big three month old momma gleaming in the sunlight sitting shotty, and pauses for a few seconds and goes "Well, now this isn't pretty" He goes "Sir, this is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." I guess after that was all done he just didn't want to risk it again, or maybe hes still growing and just playing it smart by not blabbing about, but I think its an awesome story. He said he could just picture them hanging it up to cure in evidence, one even told him thanks for bringing in the good shit. Gotta love rural bumfuck ass towns like here.
