okay so I was watching tom and jerry recently and I've been thinking....

in cartoons involving animals in a house. .. like many old cartoons such as tom and jerry and those ones with the italian mouse families or whatever
there are ALWAYS mouse holes.

and growing up watching these tv shows... we grow accustomed to the idea that mice use these holes as doorways into their home in the wall. the mouse holes are literally door shaped openings a few inches up the wall that we figure are just in the homes of unsuspecting people who live among mice... mice who crawl through these mouse holes. but really what we dont realize is that mouse holes are fake. like.... have you ever actually seen a live mouse hole in someones house? so yeah mouse holes are a device created by cartoonists .... its so bizarre

they're not fake. they just don't look like they do in cartoons. good first post, though. baked much?

i dont know where the idea of mouse holes came from, i have had mice in my house and none of them came from mouse doors... think about this, if humans and dogs have doors then why not mice...

i have totally seen mice holes! they just don't look like doors.

see, if you make mice squirm through little cracks in the wall, they're not really cute anymore ... they're vermin.

The mouse that resides here jus pulls his Bently into it's two door car garage and parks it next to the tahoe. My mouse loves having luxury and versatility whereever he may go.

Iv'e seen mouse holes but they are just little chewed out holes,not all perfect like toon mouse holes.I don't care for mice nothing against them as long as they stay outside and do their mousy business but if they come in they are cat food/toys.

I had a perfect mouse holy in one of my old houses as a matter of fact...no mice though...just a rat trap in front of it and a moldy piece of cheese...it was in like my dirt basement only accessible from outside though.
