well, allow me to reciprocate the generalization. i will say this about atlanta: your city is on the forefront
of municipal water projects. That giant underground water storage
tunnel is a work of genius, though it seems the draught that prompted it's construction
is over. It should serve as a model of initiative for the rest of the country.
having said that...

I think you are being unfair in your judgement of cali.
since your experiences are arguably in the worst parts of the state (don't get me wrong. i was born in SFO. and it is a beautiful city, but it is chock full of freaks).
i also think i should say that i don't really beleive any of that rot i spewed about the south. in reality the worst thing i can say about the south is: fuck all that humidity. but that's my russian blood. if it doesnt snow in the winter you can bet it will get too hot in the summer. that's what i beleive.
