me and my smoking buddies ususally have our own sacks, regardless joints will be passed when they need to be, i hate regimented rules and spliff politics as long as no-one takes the piss its soooo much more chilled!! when its with my lass tho no countin needed i pass it when i have had a nice lung full or 6!! hahah

the puff puff pass thing only started later on.. if forget who said it first, sorry.. but i remember it starting at a point.. normally I just hit and pass, it'll come back around.. or pack more up.. shit.. :P

I used to do puff puff pass but now its one hit pass. We always use bongs though so if you hit it 5 times youd be giving someone a pooched bowl.

one hit and pass, i cant stand holding it burning away thinking someone else could hit it

that bullshit with the puff puff puff is one hit shit is lame and burns up the blunt. Anyone who does that isnt a real smoker because real smokers like to keep a nicely uniformed blunt or joint. If you cant get the smoke you need of one steady hit then quit smoking.
