I am neither a Republicrat nor a Democan... and if you think anything is going to change because Obama is elected, then tell me why the same MULTICONGLOMERATE INTERNATIONAL CORPORATIONS each donate the same amount to each nominee of the two dominent parties? There is no diffrence and your vote does not mean crap when you are told who you can vote for. Go ahead tell me how wrong I am...

All I was trying to do is make a little joke... a play on words, abomination Obamanation... but clearly democrats have lost there sense of HUMOR. What other senses have you lost? Sorry you could not just laugh, and move on... but name calling and leaving comments like I am stupid or a moron clearly shows that you have nothing important to say. When you can only resort to name calling and cannot support an argument with facts and other intelligent pieces of information you have already LOST the argument.
Love you bye.

While fundamentally, much won't change, we have to start somewhere. One need only look at energy and foreign policy to see that there are vast differences between the two candidates. Or would you argue that we would be in the same position if we'd had Gore in office instead? That is a foolish argument to make.

In order to get the ship moving, it must first be righted. Voting for a candidate you don't believe in may be undemocratic, but the alternative is far worse.

"If you VOTE for the lesser of two evils, you are still VOTING for evil" - Jerry Garcia

The President has over 500 advisors working night and day all around whom ever the President might be... he/she does not write their own speaches except to put in a joke or two, maybe 15 if your talking Bush, what you say and what you do as President of the United States is a direct result of what the people who have the MONEY to have your ear want. The people with the MONEY are Walmart, Standard Oil, Dupont, Phillip Morris... and so on the list is many more names like these, and remember these "people"(Walmart and such) are everywhere in every state in almost every city. Tell me who else can be in more than one place at anygiven time.
Take the MONEY out of politics, do not allow anyone to buy canidates(no donations to politicians), and pay every PUBLIC SERVANT from the President down minimun wage. That will cause change.

"When the servant takes the head of the house, it no longer is your house"

"All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed, second it is violently opposed, and third, it is accepted as self-evident."
Arthur Schopenhauer, Philosopher, 1788-1860

"Today Americans would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful. This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government."
-- Henry Kissinger speaking at Evian, France, May 21, 1992 Bilderburgers meeting. Unbeknownst to Kissinger, his speech was taped by a Swiss delegate to the meeting

"The high office of President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the American's freedom, and before I leave office I must inform the citizen of his plight."
--John F. Kennedy, at Columbia University, 10 days before his assassination.

"The secret to success is to own nothing, but control everything."
--Nelson Rockefeller

"I want to own nothing and control everything"
--J D Rockefeller I

"The drive of the Rockefellers and their allies is to create a one-world government combining supercapitalism and Communism under the same tent, all under their control.... Do I mean conspiracy? Yes I do. I am convinced there is such a plot, international in scope, generations old in planning, and incredibly evil in intent."
--Larry P. McDonald, US Congressman, 1976, killed in the Korean Airlines 747 that was shot down by the Soviets

"The real menace of our republic is this invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy length over city, state and nation. Like the octopus of real life, it operates under cover of a self created screen....At the head of this octopus are the Rockefeller Standard Oil interests and a small group of powerful banking houses generally referred to as international bankers. The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both political parties."
-John F. Hylan, 1922, then mayor of New York City

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and the corporations which grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"The real rulers in Washington are invisible, and exercise power from behind the scenes."
--Felix Frankfurter, Supreme Court Justice

"The world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes."
--Benjamin Disraeli, first Prime Minister of England, in a novel he published in 1844 called Coningsby, the New Generation

"Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time and I am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its charter, I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let you go on, you will ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers and thieves."
--Attributed to President Andrew Jackson, who in 1836 forced the closing of the Second Bank of the U.S. by revoking its charter.

"If we were merely dealing with the law of averages, half of the events affecting our nation's well-being should be good for America. If we were dealing with mere incompetence, our leaders should occasionally make a mistake in our favor. We . . . are not dealing with coincidence or stupidity, but with planning and brilliance."
--Gary Allen, from his book None Dare Call It Conspiracy

"In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way." --Franklin D. Roosevelt

"As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there's a twilight where everything remains seemingly unchanged, and it is in such twilight that we must be aware of change in the air, however slight, lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness."
--Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas

There are many conspiracy theories... but only ONE TRUE CONSPIRACY, that is the Conspiracy for your Soul. It is fine that you do not believe in Lucifer or Satan, there are plenty that do and are willing to do his bidding. Paranoia GOTTA love it.
