So far I haven't had any issues with smell, actually it doesn't even smell at all yet. They still smell like plant, and not weed. I'm pretty sure there won't be a very strong smell throughout the whole grow because NL is known for being low odor. Thaks for your interest!

Sounds good keep us posted on smell I am taking in a lot of info on northern lights to see what breeders have least smell. I read in another thread nirvana's stunk bad so won't be purchasing that

How did you germ your seeds, and once germed did you just drop them in to the ffof? If so, have they had any problems, the ffof can be nute heavy to some youngins.

Good evening to all! The girls have been flowering now for 15 days. They are both doing very well. Still no smell but the tops are definitely growing a lot more pistils. Mary is now 10 inches tall and Jane is a little taller at 11 inches. Now that the first 2 weeks of flowering are over I think the plants will stop stretching and put all energy now into bud production. Here are today's pictures.

A bunch of the lower fan leaves were yellowing and were developing molted dark brown spots on them. I removed all of the affected leaves and I know that the yellowing is a nitrogen deficiency but I'm unsure of what the spots are. Does anyone have any idea? Please let me know ASAP so i can fix the issue! Questions, comments and concerns are still greatly appreciated.

Good afternoon everyone. I am very pleased to say that when I was tending to the girls earlier and... I got my first smell of !!! It wasn't much, I just got a slight whiff but that means more to come!

I am still having problems with yellowing leaves and the dark spots which I still have not been able to identify but as it gets later into flowering, I'm not very worried about it. But for future reference, I still would like to know so if anyone knows, please let me know.

I will have a picture update soon in a few days.

Just another update. It is now Day 24 of flowering. Buds are forming up nicely, and the main cola on Jane is also forming well. The fan leaves are still dying and the spots are still there. Some of the stems are turning purple. I think it may be a magnesium deficiency so I have added Epsom salt to my water. I'm not sure if it is actually a magnesium deficiency so if anyone could clarify that would be great. Here's the pictures. Next update will be in about a week.
