  • Type of grow
    PC Case

  • Strain
1 x feminised Auto Blue Mystic (Nirvana)

  • Light cycle
    20/4 from seed to harvest

  • Lightning
    250W CFL Dual Spectrum (Purple)

  • Nutrients
BioBizz - Root Juice, Alg-A-Mic, Fish Mix, Grow & Blom.

Before you say anything I'm well aware that a 250W CFL will be kinda overkill for this little space but I just wanna try it out.
Hopefully, with some bad ass ScrOG training it will do alright. Having thoughts of having two ScrOG nets... or maybe one net and a glass bar
under the bulbs to keeping the hot air away from the plants... but more on that later.

Anyway, here some pictures and more information of the work so far!
Mylar covered walls and two 120x120 mm PC fans that will exhaust the hot air. You can also spot one of the intake fans in the upper left. Since I don't need to be super stealth, I've placed that intake fan outside the box to give more room for the CFL bulb.

Homemade pot with some drilled holes in it. On the bottom right you can see the other intake fan which will blow nice and fresh air directly to the roots and stem/branches.

Damn son... i don't know how you're gonna fit that bulb in there with a socket. Othwerise looks legit. Good luck, subbed.

  • The 250W CFL bulb is in place! It was pretty much impossible to 'place' the socket somewhere inside so it's hanging with some steel wires. Not the best of solutions, but it works. If she grows to big I'll probably switch the 250W (Eight U-shapes) to a 125W (5 U-shapes).

  • She's a little smelly! It's neither strong or an "odour", but she sure got a classic weed-smell! Will probably just get stronger and more intense the bigger she gets.

  • Will be using one ONA Block (Fresh Linen) to control the odour.

  • Temperatures are stable at 83-85 F.

  • I think she's growing really good (at least compared to my Northern Lights, first grow) and she's also showing good response to the nutrients. Have watered her with Root Juice, Fish Mix and Alg-A-Mic so far (1 ml/liter). Will add the Grow next watering. All nutrients from BioBizz.

  • It's not completly light proof but since I don't need to be super stealth about it I don't know yet if I'll bother to make it light proof.

Bla, bla, bla... anyway... texts are boring, pictures are not!

Looking good man; nice that your temps are where they are for that many watts/sq footage. My temps stay about that range and im running less wattage in a cab much larger (22x12x27). Where did you find the dual spectrum bulb? i was looking for one for a veg cab but instead opted out for a 5500k bulb.

Keep this updated. This is awesome! ( however long you can keep it up.. haha)
Thanks alot! I'll sure do. I'm not the kind that gives up!

Yeah, so far it couldn't really be any better. I bought it online from Norfolk Lights. Really good shipping rates and the bulbs cost 45$.
Here's the link to their CFL sortiment - http://www.norfolklights.com/grow-lighting-electricals-fluorescent-propagating-lamps-c-22_98.html

Nice pc build. Can't wait to see what it can do, temps are really good for that high of wattage in such a small space.
Hehe, me neither! I'm pretty excited over this.

Not bad, i paid 32 (free shipping) on amazon for the 125w 5500k spectrum bulb... When flowering time comes around i'll probably just order a red spectrum version or keep with my multiple smaller bulb set up... not sure yet.
