just because they didnt have cars and electricity way way back didnt stop them from making huge civilizations and doing math and ohysics work that our computers do now adays.
It fucks my mind when i, think about this , all the shit we have today like i'phones lap tops ps3's 3d tele etc , we think its cool fuckin kick ass modern shit , but people in the roman times thought there horse n cart was the dogs bollox to them they were as modern and as technolgy advanced as we feel today . Its weird when i think about the past i feel like it was dirty and not nice , but to them they were as modern as we are today .
Even when i look back to the 90s shit seems old and stupid , but at that time , it felt like the best shit ever .it blows my mind when i think to deeply about this .

we think we are safe , we think we are at the for-front of technolgy , we think mp3 and satelite tracking is modern , its not its actually ancient , my own daughter will no doubt laugh at blu ray and 3d , just as we laugh at people who once thought casetttes were cool .its almost to much for a human mind to think how much further humans will get in technology , my personal belief is a war will end it for humans but who knows .

Well, how about this? Do you not fear the mob? (not organized crime, we can get to that) Perhaps you mean the un-swayable mentality when desperate folks will stop at nothing to survive? No. Not even close. It's where two or more are gathered. The right of assembly. It is not even a right, it is an ability that is impossible to control without strict measures that can feed it. Throw in food shortage from fuel shortage it cannot be controlled without the unthinkable.
Not only that, if we may go to pre-dawn in the African plains, even today, 2 are better than 1. It is necessary for survival, this assembly; to cooperate with pre- and non-verbal comms. The 6th sense of survival is the mob in us.
Sparta, Rome, London have all feared the mob. I can think about history entire, as this at it's core. So, the limited self govt we are trying in Western non-tribal culture is only the latest attempt. We must constantly solve this built in pair of problems with us.
In the research, Cooperation and Competition are only just now being seen as not mutually exclusive. The concept of Altuism is being proved in the latest socio-game-math to make a bigger pie. We have to give. It is the only way. (Nashian Game Theory)
You can think what you may about the increase in Food Stamps promotion in the USA. (It's OK, ya'll. Don't feel the stigma.) The mob must be feed. That much we do know and that's how far we advanced, imo. Heath care is not a Right, OK? But the 6th sense demands it. Advanced theory approves it's necessity.
If I may simply postulate, govts don't make the need for mob mentality. Mob mentaility makes the need for governance. We are, I think, only as close to the edge of disaster, as our crowd control. We can't just kill them all. That's been tried.

I'm pretty sure killing them all stops them. Trick is, you got to kill them ALL. On the serious side, we may have advanced in technology, but we're still the same animals as stone age man. Our brains are no bigger than stone age man, we are still ruled by our emotions and instincts. Stone age man just had a different technology. How many of us can be successful hunters with just a rock or stick? We think we're smarter, but we're not.

I see dead people. OK, 7th sense (all rights reserved. may not be used without permission)
We can't kill "them" all. Thems be us. If we have the last can of food on earth, we will still need crowd control, if anyone else is hungry.
I have made some effort to learn to make and use the atlatl and to make rock slings etc, to fight my way to the shotgun.
To me it's not tech that makes a difference. It is : will we kill us all to protect us all from ourselves? Something like that....

We're not smarter, just more advanced. I do agree some people are forgetting about the rest of the world around them, all depends on the family really, when you're poor you have more time to think, if you're rich you are more likely to never think about nature and discovering the world. Technology can be bad but it's also very good, we're using it right now lol and making medicine, you know we are living longer and longer thanks to it, gotta know where the line is.
About us dieing to warfare technology, it is very possibly already and has been for some time so nothing new to me lol. There is enough atomic bombs in the world to kill everyone on the planet, all they have to do is turn a key and press a button but hopefully by then the US will have enough military technology before that happens (which I doubt it will) to protect us, sky is the limit when it comes to technology and people know this.
