The Invisible Guy in the Sky & The Monster Under my Bed
"there is an invisible guy in the sky" grumbled the monster under my bed "And he's after me"
"Pardon me" I said "who said that".
Thwack went my back as the thing bashed itself against the bottom of my bed "it's me the monster that lives under your fucking bed".
I had often contemplated this mysterious thing hiding underneath my bed. As I am too big to fit under my own bed, I had never properly checked, besides who would believe that there lives a monster under my bed, people would think I was bananas. Besides, I and pretty much everyone else had thrown their lot in with the Invisible Guy in the Sky.
"why is he after you?" ... what the thing said next was said with such dignity without standing on it's dignity that I decided it was a humble little monster that lived under my bed.
I often wonder what this thing looks like. Maybe it's oblong, Pink in colour, big white bushy beard, wears sandals. I have tried chatting hot chocolate and potato chips with it, in case it's hungry (and to see what it looks like) but the monster under my bed refuses to budge as it is convinced that the invisible guy in the sky is chasing him.
