Either or. I have lived in the great southwest most of my life, and to say I haven't seen some strange things in the sky would be a great lie. I find that this could be highly possible, I surely won't believe the whole enchilada without some proof but I believe this kind of interface between the government and an alien culture is likely enough. If you disagree, please state why outside of just saying, "you're crazy" or "that's impossible". Tell me why you don't believe there could be alien cultures with advanced knowledge and interstellar travel capabilities. The ball is in your court. BTW did you bother to read the entire article? Or did you just poo-poo it away?

I have no way of corroborating his story either.

I'll straight up tell you that there is no way i can prove that information is false. In fact, I'll admit that it is possible.

The evidence however is not favorable. I question whether the ball is really in my court since proving a negative isn't a scientific approach. The onus of proof is on the one making the claim. Otherwise we'd have to accept all types of obviously false claims (like bigfoot, unicorns, etc..).

But rather than say "prove it!" back and forth let's examine the evidence. The reason I question this source is it infers a long-lived, extremely silent government cover-up. And my feeling is if the current administration couldn't keep the fact the US is torturing prisoners out of the news, I can't imagine all the people involved in a UFO cover-up would remain silent.

Fortunately, we are free to believe what we like and none of us have a monopoly on "truth" so while I remain unpersuaded, you are free to choose another belief.
