Right so I'm new but I've been reading this forum for a bit, it seems pretty down to earth.

I'm just in a bit of a situation at the moment, one that seems to be recurring.

Do any guys ever notice that when a girl really likes you, and you really like her, this is before any real relationship, that everything seems great. I mean you seem to really like her for those sort of small traits she seems to have the little things that probably will end up really annoying you, but in a "I can't live without them" sort of way (ASSUMING of course you do have a relationship with her)

Anyway to the point. Do you ever notice she changes these "traits" almost in a fashion so as one is meant to be more interested? For example my recent(ish) (3months or so) girlfriend has started smoking (cigarettes) heavily, and I'm pretty sure its because I do. She's stopped using her sort of catch phrases which I thought were hilarious in a really endearing way, I think because I humorously mocked her! There are so many other things as well I just can't think of but it's really starting to get to me!

Advice!! I really like, hopefully not liked, this girl!

Shes probably trying to mimic you because she has subconsciously realized that you are bored with her because the 3 months itch is occurring lol

Its natural for any human to mimic the actions of those closest to them. Look at it this way, some of the friends you have, you mimic some of their actions (whether subconsciously or consciously). You develop these "understandings" and "Languages" amongst friends that come from everybody taking stuff from the others. Mind you this is like "closest friends" kind of thing. But the same applies to relationships
