And beliefs don't get equal play just because you say so.

Members of NAMBLA believe that it's totally natural for men to have sex with young boys.

Members of various religions believe it's perfectly okay to kill someone for adultery, including monogamous premarital sex.

If someone believes that a trait specific to you - eye color, handedness, sexual orientation - is wrong because "gods" or scripture says so, do you still hold their beliefs sacred?

The statement I addressed was "truthfully explain the unexplainable".

Anyone claiming to be able to explain something "unexplainable" is lying. If they were capable of providing a truthful explanation it would not be unexplainable.

Some things may currently defy explanation, but that does not make them unexplainable. Substituting acknowledgment of deficiency with falsehoods, such as those used by many faiths, does nothing to improve the actual comprehension but instead fills gaps where knowledge would otherwise reside.
Many atheists believe it is perfectly ok to rob and kill people anytime they want, and for no good reason at all. Many more atheists believe it is ok to mass murder people and tourture them to death. Dont even get me started on atheists and rape.

Does that mean I should combine all atheists into one group, because of one shared belief?? No, of course not, that would be silly.

Why would you do the same thing to people who believe? Dont compare me to nambla, or anything of the sort. You dont even know me, yet you have already judged me

Default I am free to make my own rules
I believe that we are all capable of living in peace if we can tolerate believing we still can believe in someone to be groovy even if they belong to other groups. Especially if those groups believe differently than mine.

As it relates to this topic, is it better to be inclusive rather than exclusive.

;)

Great. Show me the atheist dogma that advocates each of those actions.

You could be a very good person, which you can be with or without the bible or the belief in god. But the bible doesn't accept that. Unbelievers go to punishment in hell.

Now you can cherry-pick your way through the bible all you want, picking out the parts you agree with and ignoring the parts you don't. But if you're going to do that, you already show that you don't need the bible or the god that supposedly inspired it.

How many people are Christian's these days just to fulfill the requirements of Pascal's Wager?

I believe it relevant to examine religious criminals before blindly ascribing their characteristics to others.

Others in the mob believe it is better to stone first, ask questions later.
