I would like to start by saying religon was made up by people to control people and was mainly made up for use in the military so that the troops would fight to the death like nutters thinking god would reword them for doing so.

The generals knew if there troops knew the truth that if they died a slow painfull death on the battle feald they would just rot in the ground for ever then they would not want to fight pointless wars they would just want to live there already short lives peicefully.

And why in the medievel times did the curch need to own land and tax the people that lived on the land? and a huge amount of people died building the 100s of cathedrals around the world but the curch didnt care how meany people died building them as long as they got built.

So people invented religons so they could run peopls lives and get extreamly rich.

And is funney seeing some people comment on other threds saying there is no proof of evolution when there clearly is quite alot of proof and its pritty muh fact. And there is no proof what so ever showing that religions are not just made up and beleved by stupid people.

the christian religion was written on a tablet of stone by the iron fist of an angry god my religion is the dreams and visions of my anscestor passed down from generation to generation its the dreams of my pple.............. good luck spreading your message

i would argue that in every civilization in this world...
from the begining of time....
have one thing in common .....
The belief that there is something bigger than the metaphysical ....
tha we have been creatd by someone and that there is a reason we are here....
A belief of a higher being ... or a connection with the dead.... that we will live after life.
We need religion to help us with the notion of facing death....
we need a safe heaven to run tooo.....
we all fear death and some relied on religion to make it okay...

Yeah religion has been abused....
many civilzations have used it too justify unjustly things like war....

but it not as bad as it seeems....
