i got a job, worked hard, stuck with it, and eventually it started to payoff. wasnt easy, and alot of hard times buts its better than going down the wrong road....

And nine times out of 10, If the parents arent there its there own fault/one of there faults.

Most of you can look on the bright side though. Sure its hard, But its better than being lied to about who your father is all your life...Then learning it from the guy that they claimed to be your father.

it sucks dude, theres no way around it...or no advice that will make you feel better. im 23 years old, my dad has been dead for 6 years...and he was a piece of shit anyways, and i haven't had contact with my alcoholic cunt of a mother for about 5 years....i've been on my own since i was 17. i put myself through college, and have supported myself the whole time.

im not going to lie, it's extremeely tough going through life without any guidance, advice, or a kick in the ass from your parents when your fucking up.

be strong, set goals for youself, and go after em. the only way your life will get better is if you do something about it and make it better.

im engaged so now i do have my girl's parents and family so thats great. you said you have a girlfriend? im sure her parents know your situation....reach out to them. it will help. trust me.

and remember dude, you can't choose your parents and family, but you can choose to have a good life. don't let having shit bags for parents keep you from being happy.
