i can lay down to sleep and tell myself when i want to wake. i'm wake before the alarm goes off, every time. usually within 10 mins of the actual time. today i pretty much nailed it dead on. this i've been able to do for 3 - 4 years now. the wife has been setting the alarm clock for years so i get up for work in the morning. i turn it off while i'm having my second cup of coffee.
i often get caught in 1 hour ruts. no matter what i do i wake at 3:45am, 4:45am, 5:45am........ i have then same problem at night. i fall asleep for an hour every hour. it's just weird. | When I really want to do something, I have this ability too.
Back in highschool I would literally wake up, reach over to the alarm clock, and by the time my hand got there, it was going off, then I hit it, and went back to sleep lol.
Normally being a very hard sleeper, I can be up working on something for over 24 hours... then sleep for 3 hours, wake up, and drive for 8 with no issue... as long as its something I want to do. If I don't really want to do it, I wont wake up in time.
Good luck with your sleeping problems... I've had my bouts with some pretty bad insomnia too, to the point where i couldn't sleep until I was completely exausted. |

| | I beat the alarm clock every now and then. If only I could control it. The thing that has worked best for me is Benadryl. It helps keep my nose from getting stuffy and helps relax me to sleep. Either that or large quantities of Nor Cal's finest.
Hevent' mixed the 2 yet. I always run out of one when I need it. |

| | There's nothing like waking up in the morning then five minutes later feeling like you could go back to sleep.
I had a brief stint growing grapefruit (about as sativa as you can get) and I didn't enjoy the smoke. it also didn't get me to sleep at night. Has to be at least a sativa/indica hybrid to interest me. I think this is my favourite although I don't mind either one being more dominant. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
