I totally know what you mean and agree with you. I have a 5 year old daughter.
Your children learn everything they need to get through life from you in the the first 5 or 6 years of their life. The parents are the most influential person a child has. You teach them to talk, walk, work ethic, manners (for some), behaviour, how to read, be independant (use the washroom by themselves, dress eat etc). I believe it is the development in the first few years that forms the basics skills for today's society.
However you need to teach boundaries of when and where to use proper behaviour and language.

Yes. This is my point. It should be certain tones that are considered offensive not the actual words.

My dad was the worlds worst when it came to profanity. He would tell you to go fuck yourself in a minute, and he didn't give a fuck who you were. This was very common in my house when I was growing up, but I learned that there is definately a time and place. I mean if your at granny's house then you should keep it to a minimum, or if you work in an office environment, you probably shouldn't swear either(I do because I don't give a fuck). It all comes down to common sense. I mean, if I got a customer on the phone that is an obvious moron, I don't say "you're a fucking moron and you shouldn't be installing". I politely tell them how to resolve the issue, hang up the phone, and then say "what a fucking moron!"

Ok if you were in tesco or safeway or whatever and your child wanted to go on one of those electric jig em about rides that cost 50p. How would you feel if at the top of his voice he started shouting fuck fuck fuck or shit shit shit or whatever word you want to put there.

I say this because we were in morrisons and my little girl was on a postman pat ride, all of a sudden she started shouting fuck fuck fuck, my face went as red as could be and I felt deeply embarrased, what we have tried to do since is use less profanity and change words around, fuck is now fudge and shit is now sugar. They can have words to express their emotions but the wrong ones could be really embarrasing to you at some point.

What would happen if you took the family round to your parents or somewhere proper where a level of respect was demanded and someone said to your child excuse me but you musnt do that, and your little boy turns round and say fuck off you old cunt.

God made assholes and if you call them a rectum or an anus or an ass hole, what is the difference? Man made the rules aobut what is offensive. silly rules I would say. You can say chicken breast at the grammer school cafeteria, but you can't ask for a chicken titty!
Vagina, nooky, vulva, pussy, it is the sme thing, just a different name or different word. The difference is who is offended by it? It is all about respect.
