What Truly is the American Way and/or the American Dream?

If the Preamble of the Constitution is the Original Standard and it is being replaced by falsehoods, corruption, lies, and deceptions as the standard (among leadership; How do you truly go about and even achieve the American Dream???

If a person is not going to be rewarded for basically living a lifetime of ‘real’ good merit; then what other thing is it for them to do to make a relative living?
