So what makes you happy? Or, if you're not happy, how would you define happiness?

I'm a simple girl... I'm fairly easily pleased most of the time.
I don't like money all that much, and am much happier now that we have very little, than I was when I was wealthier.
I like nature... camping, caving, bushwalking, the beach... I'd much rather spend the weekend doing these things than at the Hilton.
I would rather chill with my baby and a good smoko, than go out to dinner at a fancy restaurant.
I'd rather a smoke that gives me a good head stone rather than that heavy, lazy body stone.
I would be happier to hitch around the country than to travel by plane.
I'd favour listening to a live house band in the local pub over Kylie's concert extravaganza.
I love a good fine malt whiskey... don't mind a beer... and absolutely HATE champagne.
I'd much rather stare at a fishtank... or out a window... than a TV screen.


But the easy answer would be... my family... I believe they truly are the key to my happiness.

HE makes me happy. Incredibly so... more than I would have thought possible. You know how sometimes you imagine the most perfect person for you? But in real life you think that you will never find anyone who is your perfect match? Well, he is better than I ever dared to imagine.

Being out on my bike makes me happy, especially when hubby and I take off for the whole day.

The looks on my family members faces when they opened their gifts christmas morning makes me happy.

Just chillin here on the net smoking some bongs makes me happy.

Goofing with my silly dog when she's frisky makes me happy.

Cuddling up with a kitty, a blanket and a good book = happy

Oh, I've done that too. I guess I'm lucky to have kids who get along reasonably well together... we all do, really. Although... there was this incident once with my oldest daughter and an opened packet of chocolate that I couldn't really afford to buy.....

I'm pretty simple, I can be entertained for hours just watching geese. I like nature and the outdoors. The woods are my church, I love the smell of the woods.

We used to have Indian Runner Ducks. They run along vertically, and they flock together. You should see if you can google a video..... they're funny.
