I really got to thinking after I read the Creation Vs. Evolution Thread. What is everyone's opinion on afterlife or what will be left for us after death?

I believe nothing happens. you die and thats the end. i believe in evolution but only as adapt to ur surroundings and over time u develop wuts needed to survive.

as an athiest I don't really believe in anything

So, everyone has an opinion about creation or evolution but at the same time can't support their beliefs with ideas of what happens before Evolution/Creation or after death? Better yet, lets not leave this subject alone. Lets go a little further... Since NOTHING would evolve from a NOTHING then there has to be a SOMETHING that was created in order to evolve. So lets hear this.

If you are a creationist... Then what was before creation and whats left for you on the other side?

If you are an evolutionist... Then what did you evolve from and what or where are you going to be after your evolution is done?

If you posted in the Creation Vs. Evolution thread then you should have SOMETHING to say about "before and after" because this is the basis of that topic or pretty much the support of your beliefs beings how IMO without creation there is no evolution.

Therefore you cant really say you believe in creation or evolution if you don't have a theory of a beginning or end because you theory would be incomplete.

Correct me if I'm being ignorant but this is the only thing that makes sense to me.

Lets get this debate rollin! I wanna hear what y'all got to say. So go smoke a fatty and sit down and tell me All about your personal beliefs. Don't be shy ya stoners!!!

everything is made from 'space dust' or elements that are discharged from stars after blowing up or smashing into another object.
we have evolved to live and survive on our planet, from space dust - how, im not sure
where this space dust comes from or how it was created is beyond me and beyond our species
but i feel positive that when this life ends, you drift into darkness..like the darkness before you were born into this world
while you body returns to these basic elements, and eventually revert back to space dust


blackholes could hold part of the answer...while no matter can escape a blackhole, new stars are born

i believe that over the course of time we did evolve

I was watching a show where they actually CREATED the basic building blocks of life... DNA...by striking a pool of liquid soloution (things that would of course be in the water at the time of the creation of life such as various minerals)

anyway, when they stuck the liquid with a powerful electric current (I.E. Lightning) the protiens that bind together to make up DNA were created

i believe this is how single celled organisms came to be

As far as death goes, do you remember ANYTHING (personal memories) from the past 5000 years of human evoloution? No, You woke up one morning when you became self aware and thats when your memory starts, i believe the same thing happens when you die...its just over, you can not perceive anything because you have no senses, so 100000 years, 19 seconds, it would all be the same

So, Minerals evolved or were they created? Also, your suggesting that some sort of electrical storm caused a reaction to the minerals in the water that created single cell organisms from which we evolved?

Oh, and did you catch the name of that movie?

evolution will never stop. its impossible for it to stop. the world is always changing therefor people change. and i dont believe in the monkeys to human shit. I see it as bacteria is where EVERYTHING (plants, air, land, people, animals) came from. throughout time certain things has had to adapt overtime and passed its genes on so that later whatever has come or "spawned" from the previous thing is already adapted to its surroundings.

adaption of humans in my thought. Remember Pangea? humans all lived in the center (africa) a little while people started to travel further away from Africa. The world started to grow and the land started to seperate and the humans who traveled away form Africa were further from the equater/sun and therefore didnt need the darker skin to help woth the suns rays and therefore over time the children born became lighter in skin and so on and so on. (ALL ADAPTATION)

well just on a subject of evolution,

humans have evolved since a few hundred years back, average death ages got older, people got taller, eye color changed, and thats just the stuff that has changed in a few hundred years, imagine what could have changed over millions of years. my ideas of religion are tooooooooo well thought out to write here, the post would be pages and pages long. maybe on day ill write a book
