To practice meditation is to sit quietly and fall within the space between the thoughts, such that one comes to know peace which is deeper than mind madness. Soon one comes to know everything is perfect love, and recognises that as oneself.
Then, perhaps you remember to breathe again, and come out from that deep loving space into the mind again, but it has refreshed you with having known a timeless light of love that you met within your heart. That is what you are, this one comes to know. Jesus wishes you do that, and shows the open door. Go within.
